So I heard that if you inject your marijuana leaf with... Nah but I'm growing 1 plant with someone and they said they heard if you put a birth control pill in the soil or something that it will come out as a female, he said he wasn't sure but it was worth a try. We havn't done it and I'm deciding to ask you guys. And if it is true, how do I do it? crumble it and put it all around the soil like plant food?
 
No it wouldn't work. Birth controls pills work by mimicking or stopping hormones in the body that deal with releasing the eggs. It wouldn't work on plants.
 
I doubt humans and plants use the same hormones for any given purpose.
 
LOL are you seriously asking that question? I say this in the nicest way possible, but... Any middle school graduate with some common sense knows there's no way a human birth control pill would effect a plant in anyway. As a matter of fact, how would you even ensure that the plant absorbs it? Can plants absorb pills? You would probably have to grind it up and mix it in the soil, but like I said it won't do anything.

But seriously dude, if you read my post you woulda seen it wasn't my idea in the first place? and not the person who gave me the ideas idea either.. Just some thingthing he heard and thought was worth a try... this isn't really a very careful little grow, just sort of playing around and seeing what happens :P just wanna make sure i get some buds!
 
You have to learn not to listen to anything your stupid friends tell you.

My friends are stupid and do the same thing, it's okay. I want to punch my one friend in the face everytime he tells me a drug fact that make no sense. Worst of all is he believes them.
 
Okay umm, no shit? Nobody told me this directly and wished me to believe it. He was sceptical himself and thought it was silly but worth a try and then I came here and asked, i was not believing anything.

I don't think it would work.

But give The Winner a break, guys. Its not that much of a stretch of logic; for instance, plant sterols from soy that mimic the effects of estrogen are used by women as a cure for menopause. We are beings based in chemistry, and so are plants; so there's bound to be some crossover. Don't assume he's stupid for asking a question, at least he's thinking and trying to discern the truth from the falsities.
 
I've read reports claiming this method worked but i wrote it off as wack shit back in 06. Even if it did work would you want to be smoking that(as a male). More importantly if you wouldnt smoke it, do you think you should let medical patients smoke it? By me, pawns get wrecked all the time for shit like that.
