I just noticed something about the NBOMe series when checking out info about related compounds on wikipedia. Based on what I noticed I'd like to see someone make this compound: N-(4-Propyl-2,5-dimethoxybenzyl)-4-Propyl-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine. I'd say most certainly active and potent as well as being almost a complete mirror image of itself. Altho I'm not sure what effect the 5-methoxy will have, because of its placement is similar to the 2-position i'd bet it wouldn't hinder it in anyway. I'm not sure how complex/costly it would be tho... (I chose propyl cuz of its strength and potency)

I'm not sure if this is worth its own thread or what my question/statement would be other than ''how cool is this?" Lol
 
N-phenethyl is not N-benzyl, I think these compounds are synthesis impurities and not very active at all.

Also, 2c-P makes a poor NBOMe from what I have heard. Maybe bis-2c-i.
 
I think u misread, this is one solid molecule where its 2cp connected at the amine to another 2cp sans 1 methyl or maybe I wrote it wrong but there's no N-phenethyl. Anyway I'm surprised about the 2cp analog not being the best or even that good, weird...

These look to me like chelating agents, actually. I also included my misjudged bis-2c-I molecule.

The methyl analog shown might have a fighting chance.
 
Those first two molecules look a bit off. The left sides look like phenMETHYLamines as opposed to phenethylamines. Is that the structure you were indeed trying to produce? Or just an error?
 
That's the structure (zonk) was talking about, it's basically a 2c-substituted-benzyl version of the NBOMe series.
 
Yeah 1 side is the proper 2c phenethylamine and NBxxxx side has to be 1 methyl short on the PEA part AFAIK so its not an exact bis compound but almost...
 
While I haven't read Nichol's papers I was assuming who ever created the wiki pages did and they indicated that in relation to NBx-2cb a bromo at the 4-position off benzyl off the nitrogen increased potency
