Beurospeak, or whatever the hell you want to call it. I go to a large hospital for healthcare, which has many different sections for very particular services. One area is for customer service, and it has different sub areas like, customer help for that, for this, for that over there, and yadda yadda. Basically if you have any question, there is some official person who takes THAT particular complaint, and nothing else. These people, these FUCKING PEOPLE (if they can be called people) are driving me fucking NUTS! They, are like, fucking ROBOTS, with programmed responses, and do NOT deviate from those lines WHATSOEVER! You ask them ANYTHING, that even swerves off that path of what it is they do, even in the vaguest sense, they immediately go back to pre programmed fucking script. What the FUCK is wrong with these people???? They are FUCKING WEIRDOS!!! It is like they aren't even human, like someone took a 6 inch syringe, shoved it into their fucking brain, and pumped up with some sort SHIT!!!

Example!

(Got in touch with this person after going through three different people)Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: How may I help you? (no greeting, or indication given of who I am speaking to)

Me: Uh, hello, my pharmacy says there are no refills left, and I can't have my prescription refilled.

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: Your name? (I give name) What is your problem?

Me: My pharmacy says there are no refills left on my medicine, and that I can't have my prescription refilled.

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: A prescription was filled for this medication at your pharmacy (wal-fuck) four days ago.

Me: What? No, I never picked anything up, no, I don't think so. I spoke to them five minutes ago and they said no, there are no refills left for me.

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: The prescription was filled sir.

Me: But it wasn't.

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: Sir, it was.

Me: No it fucking was NOT!

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: I will call the pharmacy sir, please hold.

Me: (Music playing on phone)

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: Sir, they say it has been ready for 4 days.

Me: WhATT? They are liars. Ok, you say it is ready, but if it is not, which they have been telling me, can I call back and will you handle it? Because they tell you one thing, and me another.

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999:.........Sir, they told me (Sharp cut off)

Me: I know what THEY TOLD YOU! But listen to what I AM TELLING YOU! Jesus Christ lady! FUCK YOU!

Hospital Nurse#5682 Sub-Section 9999: I shall refer you to their complaint line sir, goodbye.

Me: (Calls wal-fuck, prescription is ready and ready to be picked up)

THIS SHIT! THIS FUCKING SHIT!?!?

It is unfortunately the society we live in. Beaurospeak is what is used to prevent liability and give a sense of "fairness" but it is not often helpful and I feel exactly like you do...treated not as a valued customer or client, but just another "lick". I got a new cellphone and I was putting the sim card in. I have T-mobile, and I needed to call customer support to activate the sim card. The operator I had was amazing. He was excellent at customer service and we even got to joking around a bit about american dad and family guy. I of course went on line and give him an excellent review. I never give reviews for poor performance unless it is particularly poor, or aggravating...but I will always award good customer service..it pretty much is the only way for the winners to advance, and the losers to stay in the same place until they get better.

mods: I am not sure, but this may be better suited for SO.

You realize the lady you were yelling and cussing at was likely just as confused as you OP and just trying to do her job? It can be frustrating when trying to deal bureaucratic shit especially medical stuff, but getting angry I've found seldom helps the situation.
