Mental Health Best way to treat Bipolar disorder after meds

OK so I am on Lamictal to control my "rapid cycling" which has been identified as bipolar. So I was wondering if there are other "remedies" that people use other that RXdrugs. I have used "mellow" weed which has recently helped. I used to get panic attacks from it, but now I am good. I just don't want to keep drinking to calm down the mania

EMDR is wonderful ..... however it is for things more on the anxiety/PTSD side of the spectrum
