WHAT!i did not just see that (re:Primus sucks)les is a musical genius.thats why he has his own group,bands like Metallica turned him down becuz they said he was too good.if you know the music scene well enough to give that kind of opinion then you would know that they are "musicians , musicians"they are sick and anyone who plays the bass knows they are the shit!! i don't mean to be ragging you here,but seriously study some music.
 
just becuz you don't like their style of music doesn't mean you should personally attack them.let me hear you kick out something -ANYTHING_that they play.bet you can't.you don't have to like what you hear but to say someone sucks when they are x-cellent artist is pretty harsh.

Well they are hard to catch but if your lucky ...
A getrman band (Goa - Trance) called S.U.,N Project - they give a live trance performance coming up dressed all up as aliens - one plays Guitar One Drums and one is on the Vinyls - AMAZING !!!!
It is best to Trip while watching them and go into a journey with them into their music

there must be others out there who know that PRIMUS SUCKS.....
one of the PHATTEST phish shows i've ever seen was the last show of fall 96 tour- at the Aladin Theather> this show is BY FAR one of the funkeist shows EVER- Les & Lerry came on stage for the encore (which was more like a 3rd set). Les' style of FunkEy bass slappin and Lerrys tight guitar sound helped Phish create musical magic that night.

w33k4p4c9- you stressed me with the last thing i read yesterday.i told my husband,who is a bass player & got me into Primus with pork soda and then tales.....punchbowl, and he didn't get it either.i almost logged on last night at 4am(is that night?),but thought something ragging would be posted and i didn't want to ruin my roll.this morn (12;15 is that morn?)i rolled a fattie and sat down here to deal with it,scrolled through the other post first so i could be baked,and picked up on little things about you.you were fucking with me.i didn't get the suck thing.give me a break ,i am a 28 yr old housewife and mother.my child is homeschooled (i don't want the govt brainwashing..opps,errr.. educating my children,but dont even get me started with my socialistic way of thnking and our govt.),so i am not too much up on lingo.the post said "fav live bands"not,"top 5 fav bands of mine that i know all about and am an expert in."so forgive me and i was not trying to be cocky either.i like grateful dead,ok,in fact my husband played in a tribute band once for a few months(filling in for somebody-local gig)but never progressed to phish-although i hav
e heard a few things and they were cool.my husband and i lean more towards hard rock and he plays in an acid jazz band which we love also.do you know any of Tommy Bolin?any how, PEACE! i also want to add that r.h.c.peppers are an awesome live band and i just saw everclear and they were good also. Hey Liquid,
it's good to see someone with some live music taste. Your list is a great start, however, if your really into jam bands, you may want to check out these, All incredible and all of them good on anything especially E.
GALACTIC (supremely talented NOLA funk)
Medeski, Martin and Wood (almost acid jazz but with a unique flavor. Catch them with DJ Logic and your really set.)
Sound Tribe Sector Nine (trippy, almost
like Phish except they don't sing six minute gay songs about Foam, in fact they dont sing really at all, Very NEW and refreshing)
