Benzo burping

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I wanted to know if anybody had a pharmacological / medical explanation.

When I take benzos recreationally (once in a blue moon) I always experience belching and burping especially with Xanax.

Its nothing extreme and they fade away if I lay down. I've read that benzos can cause hiccups due to the diaphragm being relaxed, but what about burping, it feels as if I have a lot of air in my stomach and I have little burps and my stomach grumbles lol.

Is there any explanation?

I only get hiccups when combining opiates with benzos , that's due to the diaphragm movement becoming less strong , this correlates to respiratory depression.

I think the burping is something related to the oesophagus so different , some people have this problem without drugs involved (like belching and burping non-stop for hours on end)

Any advice on how to "cure" it?

Baking Soda or lemon juice maybe?

I'd try with mint or ginger or both.
