We regret to inform you that Eva Ruggiero has completed employment with QADREC. If your enquiry is in regard to the Ecstasy and Related Drug Survey (EDRS) or the Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS) please contact Shelley Cogger on [email protected]

Mods did you want to confirm this?

Thanks for checking Breecamp. I know Shelley isn't the right person, but I'll look into it and edit the information above, ASAP - thanks.

I have been in contact with the coordinator who recommends calling or texting for the time being - she will get back to us regarding the email situation for Qlds.

Hey folks, just wondering if anyone in Aus has done this and how it went. I know they usually finish up in June so you should have a few more weeks to get interviewed for those interested.

Think i'll go do it, it's really just a matter of working it around tafe & work.
hopefully i can bring some friends along to (or get them to go do it another time)

Give them a try - they may not be finished yet but it would be any time soon!

Here are some publications from NDARC using the data collected from the study advertised in this thread. (Although, their stats tend to show that less than 5% of their samples come from online sources - most people interviewed from EDRS are recruited from street press ads.)

Here are the key findings from the EDRS bulletin:
•The overall quality of life reported by Australian Regular Ecstasy Users (REU), as measured by the Australian Unity Personal Wellbeing Index (PWI), were lower compared to the general Australian population, with REU also reporting less satisfaction with their standard of living, health and life achievements.
•Unemployment and recent bingeing were associated with decreases in overall PWI scores among REU, indicating less overall life satisfaction.
•Completion of year 12 was associated with an increase in overall PWI scores among REU, indicating more overall life satisfaction.
•In general, changes in the self-reported quality of life of REU are more closely linked with variations in their socio-economic circumstances than their patterns of drug use.
