I revived an old thread on Aurorix & E, but it only shows in the older Drug Discussion forum. I don't know if anyone looks there, so if people could have a look at it for me, I would be greatly appreciative

Or should I just re-post the question here?
Thanks in advance

Have you done "THE SEARCH?" to help your quest for knowledge? If you have and can find nothing, just post the question here I guess............
**looks around for Moderators..dammit, they know I'm here.."DON'T SHOOT!*

The problem is, when you do a search and revive an old Drug Discussion thread, it shows up in Aus Drug Discussion, rather than Aus Drug Discussion 2001. Therefore, most people would not see the thread for a while, if at all

It's kind of an urgent question, so I guess I'll just provide the link here. Again, any opinions at all would be great

Thanks for including that link, Toumbido - I was going to shift that post over here, but since we've got this thread now, and the link is included, that will do.
I haven't looked into Aurorix for awhile, but from memory it's a reversible MAOI, which means it's definitely not advisable to mix with MDMA at all. That being said, if you're determined to experiment with this combination, then I'm not sure how much MAOI is bad to mix with how much MDMA. Since they're contraindicated in the normal dose range, I'd say that any experimentation should be done with care.
Since Aurorix is supposed to be a "reversible" MAOI however, it may be that you can stop taking Aurorix and it's MAOI effects will finish within a day or two. Perhaps if you seek some information about this chemical and find out how soon the effects are gone from your system, you could determine if it's possible to interrupt your course of Aurorix for a number of days in order to take MDMA.
The most important thing to consider, IMHO, is this: If you are regularly prescribed with anti-depressants, interrupting the treatment in order to take mood-altering substances may not be the best idea.

Aurorix is one of the latest drugs in a new class of anti-depressants called RIMAs (moclobemides)

Also known as Manerix in the US..
There's a very simple solution to find out if your prescription drug has a greater or lesser chance of reacting with an illicit substance..
TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR!
I'm very proud of the fact that both my specialist and my GP are aware of what I'm putting into me on the weekends. A true professional will not judge you on what you do, but assist in providing advice on how to minimise harm to your body (providing you have already made the decision to take drugs).
Anti-depressants are no joke. They are not a "quick fix" solution (like many other prescription drugs such as antibiotics). If you aren't dedicated to a long-term solution for your depression, you may as well save your money and time and forget about seeing people who can help.
Ask your doctor whether it is safe for you to have [insert name of illicit substance] with your dosage of Aurorix and/or any other prescriptions you are currently on.
Every person is different!
Good luck
