So I recently purchased a vaporizer to better take care of my lungs. I set it at 330 farenheight when I smoke usually. The cord that came with it (it is a vaporite) is plastic and melted after a long 7 minute session. I went back to the store and explained the problem and bought a much more robust tube but it is still made of plastic. I asked if they made them out of any other materials and they said no. Is the plastic tubing on vapes safe? Has anyone tested them for safety? (this may belong in BDD or ADD i wasn't totally sure where to put it)

if it melts its probably not good i bought a 30 foot roll of the 1/2 -3/4 in tube from the hardware store and ive had no problem u might want to turn the vape down. but idk because mine has a knob not a gauge either way if it melts find something else my tube was for hot water so i know its rated to about 140 degrees and wasnt toxic. what kind of vape u use? mines a natural goods with a 22mm whip

also the article in the post above says medical tubing is best but in my experience melts more easily. at least mine did it was also a much smaller mm than was originally on there so that might of caused it.
