RCs Are there any research chemicals that can treat ADD?

Absolute God's honest truth. I recommend it to anyone. I am now on day two of only taking Guanfacine. I obtained it from a friend who had her son on it for ADD. It did NOT work for his ADD but she kept the pills figuring I would be more than willing to sample the goods...

Long story short her and I did a little poking around the internet and punched in the drugs in her medicine cabinet, Guanfacine came up in many research studies for heroin addicts in the late 1980's up until the mid 1990's. The success rate was upwards of 93%!!! In some trials! (Showing moderate-high improvement). I am sourcing the papers below. Check it out. I am spreading the word.

Remember, I am NOT a doctor. Do not take my advice.

*In addition, I was able to sleep a full 10 hours last night. This stuff can make one very sleepy! :)

2-FA seems like the perfect ADHD solution. Pure concentration, not a lot of recreational value, but very useful for clean stimulation with less side effects than amphetamines commonly prescribed. This is because of the minimal/nonexistent amount of serotonergic activity it has, as compared to classic amps or other halogenated amps like 4-FA.

If you have a medical issue, you need to see a doctor. ADD/ADHD is a serious medical issue and these are very serious drugs. At least amphetamines have some history of human use - these substituted cathinones and amphetamines are untested, untrialed, and could be very dangerous.
Remember bephedrone? For some reason that substitution resulted in a drug that was extremely toxic and it was largely chance and BL that caught it before it exploded. What is to say that other substituted stimulants aren't equally dangerous?

Side effects can take years to manifest, you guys are playing with fire. Please, please just see a doctor for your add. Nobody with legitimate issues is going to be turned away by the medical establishment - you are doing yourselves a disservice by trying to self-medicate.

Doctors exist to help us, to work for us, to advocate for our health. Use them.

Also, as a result of my own personal adventures... I REALLLLLLLY recommend against attempting to utilize MXE for any therapeutic purposes. That was my intention back in March when I first began ordering it... a destroyed relationship, failed employment, thousands of dollars, fifteen ounces and 10 months later I find myself in a very, very dark place in my life.
Obviously I cannot blame these consequences of my own behavior on an inanimate object such as Methoxetamine, but it truly acted as a profound catalyst for the total implosion. Steer clear. Also, ADD treatments are theoretically going to help you focus and be 'normal.' Things are anything but normal, both in reality and cognitively, in an MXE (or other like-street drug) haze. I'm in agreement with others here, using research chems to medicate a legitimate diagnosis is not prudent.

As mentioned before, using RCs or street drugs to self-medicate for ADD will not end well.

See a doctor and get prescription medication. That way you know what you're actually getting.

See a doctor if you think you have ADD. don't self medicate; it never ends up good

Something about recommending mdpv for medical use on a harm reduction site just seems wrong to me, but yeah unless you think amphetamine psychosis makes you focus more, I'd say don't use mdpv for add or adhd.

Yeah I was going to say boardsofcanada that if you've already got a prescription for ADD, you really shouldn't need any DIY medication. If the drugs you're prescribed aren't working, talk to the GP and have your prescription changed.

^ I am also wondering if they are currently prescribed something for this. It wouldn't be a good idea to resort to ordering RCs to try to treat ADD. You never know the purity of RCs, so they can be very difficult to dose.

Anyone thinking about self-medicating should read through these from some of the best people on BL.
