anyone tried Neurontin (gabapentin) before ?

Today i found 6 pills of 100mg neurontin in my med cab. and so i thought it'd be interesting trying it ..

i was wondering weather would sniffing 600mg of neurontin show any visible effects ? or do i need more ...

just want to know if it would effect me with 600mg only ... cuz thats all the access ive got

and also ive just been on meth 6 hours ago ... would this fact intensify my neurontin ?

or do you think i should just go put it back in the med cab. ?

really wanna trip today but i ran out of solutions so .. this would prob be it

Neurontin is not going to "intensify" your meth exp...it'll probably knock you out and kill any stimulation you have.

Wait until the crash, and then take one or two of them to help with sleep/relaxation.

I haven't ever taken it so I don't know about dose, but I wouldn't advise you snort all 6, just orally take them, and don't take all 6 at once.
 
no ,i dint mean that would it intensify my meth what i meant was would my meth use intensify the effects of neorotonin ? since im nearly reaching the comedown so if i snort all 6 pills would i be able to detect any effects eg euphoria etc ?
 
and also im on an empty stomach ...

so with the bonus of empty stomach , and a meth comedown
would 600mg of nuerontin give any visible effects ? like would i atleast feel somewhat different ?
 
No. Gabapentin sucks for recreation, and it's effects will only perhaps be subjectively "intesified" by your Methamphetamine use, in the sense that you will feel more relaxed by taking them on a stimulant come-down than you would if you took them sober/at baseline.

You will not "trip" from Neurontin, but one or two of the 300mg pills should help you unwind and get some rest after being upped for hours.
 
may i ask why you decided that you want to snort these?

idk why but ive been seeing alot of people take a huge liking to snorting everything.. especially big fucking pills that when snorted work even worse than when taken orally

but yes, you can get high off of neurontin, but not everyone reports recreational effects from it.

i was precribed it and the effects for me were somewhat enjoyable, but nothing that great so down get to excited.

your best bet would be to take all 6 of them, then drink a dark soda suck as coke and eat a meal high in fat to increase the absorbption. you'll feel sort of drunk and stimulated, and you'll be talkative.

but remember not everyone can get high off of this so you may not even feel anything.

600mg's isnt a high dose anyways so theres not a high chance that you'll do damage to yourself
 
Oh I see, I misread, they are 100mg capsules? In that case, you could probably take 3-5, maybe all six, but don't snort them.
 
i've been taking 600mg three times daily for two years or so and there is absolutely no point in trying to "ingest" neurontin in any other way other than just swallowing the damn pill if you wanna "come down".
my first time, i remember feeling slightly wobbly but it's not meant to get you "high", in my opinion it's not a recreational drug at all.
 
Don't assume that just because it's a pill it would be a good idea to snort it

Snorting only gives stronger effects with certain drugs, it all depends on bioavailability
 
i personally like neurontin , but i was stupid enough once to try it up the nose . this was a dumb mistake it tastes like crap and i didnt get anything out of just snorting it. if you want to feel something from gabapentin try eating to aleve's and as stated about eat with big meal greasy food , some reason its bioavailability goes up with aleve and eating it on full stomache.
 
Disregard pretty much everything that's been said in this document (except #13 of course :))

1. Do not snort Gabapentin. It's a terrible, terrible idea. Those pills have so much filler in them.

2. Gabapentin is not a GABAergic, despite the claims above. It's derived from GABA, but has no effect on GABA receptors or GABA concentrations in your brain. It is a α2δ calcium channel binding drug.

3. Gabapentin might be beneficial while on methamphetamine. It generally produces relaxation, but also stimulation. Dizziness and diarrhea are side effects, but not terribly common.

4. Gabapentin will probably be best for helping the crash and getting some sleep. It's not a benzo, of course, and not related, but some of the effects are similar.

5. Good news. You probably can't hurt yourself with the drug. There is pretty much no indication that it has any toxicity, and people have taken up to 32 grams of the stuff (that must have been torture!) and suffered no ill effect despite a few days in a coma. If people can consume 32 grams of a drug and not suffer from it, it's probably safe to presume that it's not lethal.
 
It's an anti-seizure drug, mostly for things such as Fibromyalgia, and stopping Epilepsy.

I think you could risk a seizure trying it. I was on Topamax, a sister drug for my Migraines for 4 years, and you MUST titrate up or down, or risk crapping in your pants! o.O
 
I have had access to Gabapentin (Neurontin) for some time now due to a family member that has been prescribed it for pain related to diabetic neuropathy. I have tried it as a migraine remedy with good results at the 1000mg dosage range. Recreationally I have found great results in the 2400mg to 6000mg range. The effects are somewhat akin to alcohol or GHB in that they are sedating and euphoric, encouraging social interaction at lower recreational doses, and very much incapacitating (to the point of passing out) at higher doses. It is more like GHB at lower recreational doses in it does not cloud your mind yet still produces profound euphoria.

As others have said insufflation of these pills would be aweful! Gapapentin is one of the WORST tasting pills I have ever encountered! Just attempting to swallow a tablet (unless you are lucky enough to have access to capsules...) is bad enough, I can't immagine what a Gabapentin drip would be like... 8o:p

I usually take them with some whole milk. The milk fat helps cover the taste and also aids in absorption without slowing it down too much. A moderate dose of caffeine (50mg) seems to cut the time until effects are felt from approx. 2 hours to more like 1 hour, without any negative side effects.

I would not combine it with other depressants, and it would probably just blunt your meth high. Depending on your body weight and natural sensitivity to Gabapentin, 600mg may not do much for you.

I prefer Gabapentin to alcohol, GHB and benzodiazepiens.

why would he disreguard what everyone is saying, is this not a forum from us to get opinions from all, sometimes yes there can be people giving the wrong information but this is a forum and it is not a place that one person knows it all . I am sorry that really bothered me .
i was told though from the first doctor who put me on it that it won't cause seizures , i don't believe this has happened or if it was every documented.
you don't have a prescription so this would not be a problem for you , but there are some people who have claimed withdrawal when coming of it.
what i said about the aleve(naprosyn) is completely true . i have read up quite a bit on neurontin and this is always a common finding.
what i said also about eating on full stomache is true as well
i also know that i have read that noone has every died from to much of it. now lyrica its bigger brother that may be a different story ashla

I take 300mg 4 times a day for pain from MS.

What I have found:

Opiates are virtualy worthless with it. You have to double the amount you take for any benifit. I used to take a couple vicodin every other day or so now I can go a week between vicodin's and double the dose to get what I used to get every other day.

Benzos seem to be nice with it. 10-20mg Valium + an extra gabapentin is a nice mellow buzz.

The thing I have really enjoyed though is the gabapentin and weed. Almost the exact oposite of opiates and the gaba. I smoke half as much and i am crazy high.

As far as the danger not much danger with gabapentin. My Dr. pretty much told me to titrate to my comfort level after warning me about much over 3600 a day. So anything your Dr. lets you find a comfort level of is going to be pretty darn safe.
 
I take 600mg's 3 times a day for neuropathic pain and no 600mg's won't get you high. I can get buzzed sometimes from about 3000mg's but it doesent get everyone high and it's unpredicatable. Snorting it would be horrible as the pills are so goddamn huge.

Meth won't potentiate it at all since gabapentin is sedating but the gabapentin may help the comedown a little. By the way if you took these off someone that needs them put them back.

Agreed. I hope I didn't suggest I stole this medication from my family member it was prescribed to. It was extra medication that was given willingly. Stealing someones medication (especially medication used to treat their pain) to get high is really wrong.
