oh. Yeah sometimes it feels that way doesn't it.

i have different conspiracy theories about the game

one is called location batching

the other deck based matchmaking

both denied by the developers

and if you bring it up on Reddit they beat you up for it
 
What's location batching? I mean I'm fairly confident they haven't stopped making the same location more likely for a certain amount of time. If not drastically at least moderately.

The updates are like 2 power swings, huge differences in abilities, why wouldn't they tweak the probability a bit to be less than perfect
 
Like you Can Not say the "ego" location has a higher probability to see than the +1 energy or double this cards power

ever noticed how a location repeats in back to back games?

like for example you start a conquest match. Game 1 you get deaths domain then game 2 it pops up again? Next time it's mojos world back to back or something?

there are dozens of locations in the game , so this happens far too often in my opinion

no ego is a super rare location. Kind of like lamentis 1.

so you are less likely to see them batched together. But when you do you get them initially they are more likely to repeat the next game. I've had many double lamentis matches.

So I guess my next question to synthesize this all, is after you get a so called batch that has been denied to exist by developers, is the likelihood to see that Particular batch again lower? Like, is it more likely to batch again, with another location?

In my experience it's like this, just using random examples

Hala - Gamma Lab - Grand Central

Gamma Lab - Hellfire Club - Great Web

Great Web - Jotunheim - Kamar-Taj

Knowhere- Klyntar- Kamar-Taj



It doesn't happen every single time. I'm not saying that. But it happens far too often to be random.
 
I think it's some kind of bug in the code or something that they haven't bothered fixing.

But people sure do get triggered when when you bring it up

I didn't realize it that particularly, I'll definitely keep an eye on that now though.

At the end of the day, it's not potential a huge huge error, but definitely something I'll keep my eye on

im not even sure it's a thing on ladder or if it would even be possible there

In latter I noticed it a bit more often than what you outlined but again, I'm a pro at theories and justifying things maybe to a fault. Maybe to a point that isn't valid and isn't worth the time

Good to know though bro like, the more insight and info the better, and that goes for everything if one can handle it

if you post a screenshot of your card collection I might be able to suggest improvements
