Opioids Anyone done hydromorph contin?

Got my hands on about a dozen of them, 3 mg, what is the best way to enjoy them? They come in green capsules, with little hard beads inside. Should I crush down and enjoy through the nose or just eat em? I have never really done opiates before. A few nights ago, I opened up three and just chewed the beads, but I got way too sleepy and couldn't keep my eyes open and felt pretty uncomfortable.
 
did you mean to type 32mg? lol because 3mg jurnista aka hydrmorphone XR would be quite funny.. im too lazy to look up which exact company // imprint // pill you are talking about but if they are the newish jurnistas then good luck beating that time release method. i've read many a threads of people trying to beat it with no success. if anyone does ahve any info on this and would care to share please PM me and thank you in advance.
 
These Hydromorph Contin are available in Canada (for those in other countries who are not aware), they come in a range of 12 hour extended release capsules and the beads being the method of their action--they will slowly dissolve over time. If you crush the beads, the drug is released like taking an IR Dilaudid tab.
They are enjoyed in many ways, a few being oral, insufflation, plugging, and IV. The bioavailability and tolerance will be the determining factor of how much to dose. It's a fast acting opioid, so you may want to re-dose over the session. Bioavailabilities being available in a specific thread ranging from ~30%-100%.
 
Soak the beads in water for 24 hours, filter, and inject. Just make sure you don't OD, I would make a solution that had about 16mg/ml. That way you can draw up half a cc at a time, and know it's 8mg. They are only good for constipation taken orally. IV, they are the bees knees. I love em.
 
They are very addictive. If you put a needle in your arm, expect to want to do it again. I wouldn't reccomend it unless you are very experienced in opiates. I've had 6mg of this stuff put me down and it's nothing for me to do 80mg of oc in a day.
 
You guys are right, they are the bees knees. I used to be prescribed 30mg/day but not anymore. I still enjoy IV'ing any of D I can get my hands on pretty well every day.
They have a sick rush, but you really need to take a bit more to get high after the initial rush effect. Personally I can get a nice rush from 4mg+, but about a 24 mg shot would get me hiiiigh :).
START SMALL! 1mg is a lot more with this drug; Oxy users, take heed to this warning.
 
Regular IR hydromorphone is my favorite. I haven't heard of an extended release but if what the guys above me are saying is true, then you are in for a hell of a good time. My first time, I railed 16mgs and felt great and then nodded off into oblivion. But the oral BA is the worst from what I have heard so I never even tried it. I IV'd 4mgs and felt decent...not as strong as I was hoping for but it was alright. The next few times I banged much larger doses up to 18mgs and didn't feel any different from my 4mg adventure. Everybody is different and I have heard of ppl that had glowing experiences with 2mgs IV'd. Why is my tolerance so high?!?

Anyways, if crushing them makes it IR, Split the 32mg capsule contents into 4 piles and put 1 in a spoon, throw 10mls of water in it and mix it up very well. 32mgs is a huge dose so DON'T, I repeat DON'T take it all at once. Given that your solution doesn't gel up like MS Contins, throw a cotton in there and pull it all into the point and bang away. See how you feel and if you want more(i think you will be good though) repeat the same process. Good luck
 
I can't believe all these people are recommending that you IV these pills. Not only did you not ask for IV info, but you stated that you are new to opiates, have no tolerance, and that 3 pills orally made you overly sleepy and you did NOT like the feeling. Based on this information, please ignore everyone who told you to inject the drugs. DO NOT IV. Given your tolerance (or lack thereof), you will OD. Your original post seemed sensible enough - I think you could try grinding them and snorting a small amount...then waiting for about 15 minutes to see if you need more. Or you can continue to take orally. Just go slow, don't push yourself and don't listen to people on a "harm reduction" site yapping about "the only way to enjoy them is to IV". That's bullshit and either they didn't read your post carefully or they're morons. With your low tolerance, I'd say you'll be able to enjoy them much more safely. Good luck!

Don't label everyone, it's not fair. Not all of us recommended IV; some of us gave the options of many ways he can enjoy them, and even issued warning of strength. I know I personally said that I, repeat, I inject them. Re-read before you go and type bullshit like that.

Easy there. When I referred to "all these people" I was specifically referring to all of the people who DID recommend this specific poster to IV his stash. Seriously, based on his original post, he should NOT be getting recommendations to IV...and Bluelight, as a harm reduction site, should have people able to stress that. I'm sorry if my post upset you, as your post was not one of the ones that bothered me, however I would rather come out strongly on the side of reducing the possibility of someone perishing from bad advice than avoid stepping on some toes when someone is getting some reckless advice that they might follow.

Um... He asked what's the best way. Clearly you should use some intelligence when doing so, but even an opiate naive person can handle 4mg or so easily. I don't particularly enjoy hydromorphone when it's snorted either. It makes me feel overly tired, nauseated, and very little real buzz.
 
I did 12mg over the course of the day, as well as 2.5 mg of clomozepa, and I am so messed up. Yeah, if you are new to opies, don't shoot this. try oral or nasal. Some people find plugging to be good, I think snorting is way better. Try to avoid mixing such large amounts of downers, as you need less of both for equivalent effects.
 
Be careful with those benzos if you're using opioids, that is a slippery slope that could potentially end in an OD. Annie has a point too.

I agree. Hydromorphone, in my opinion, IS best when IV'd.. But someone who is NOT opiate tolerant should certainly not start with the needle. Dilauadid can be enjoyed thru other ROA's if you have a low tolerance.

Also, do be careful mixing with benzos. I have seen enough people OD from mixing opiates and benzos. Tomorrow I have to go to the wake for one of my best friends who died last weekend from mixing too much methadone/heroin with klonopin.

Opiates + benzos = bad idea :( Not for beginners.
 
I got some 24s which is a lot more than the 3s I had before. Do I just open the capsule and do a rough estimate on what a safe amount would be? I don't want to do all the 24mg at once.
 
open a capsule, crush it into powder, and you know you have 24mg, so roughly (as best u can) split in half to 12mg, then half to 6mg, then half again even to 3mg and you'll definitely be between 2 and 4mg. Just make sure you're paying attention to what you're doing and how much you have in each pile. Have you been eating or snorting it? I would suggest snorting them for sure. Not sure where your tolerance is, you know best, just keep in mind that snorting hydromorphone is a fair bit more powerful than eating them, so adjust your normal oral dose down a few mg.
