I don't see what's wrong with this. Obviously many of you do not have kids.
While it's fine and dandy for you to use drugs, I don't think you'd want your kids to use. It's expensive, it becomes a liability, the fact of the matter is that drug users are less likely to go to college than non-drug users. You are more likely to be involved in legal troubles, which are quite costly to the family.
I don't care if my kids shoot up heroin and smoke crack when they get older and out on their own, but you won't be touching alcohol or cigarettes even until you get the fuck out of my house and living on your own. Once you graduate college, you can do whatever the hell you want. But when I'm the one who gets fucked and has to pay your lawyer fees, who has to pay because your still living in my house, or has to deal with wasted college tuition because you had to drop out, I'm gonna lay the smack down if I find out you do drugs.
Fact of the matter is that none of us care about drugs now, but it's our parents who get royally fucked in the ass when their kids are busted or don't go to college or do as good in school all because of drugs.
Now we can argue all day that drug legalization would just make this world all magical and wonderful, but truth of the matter is that we don't live in such a world, so go cry yourself a river.
And even if drugs were legalized, my kids still would have no part in drug use. Statistics show quite clearly drug users don't go to college at the same rate as the general populace.
Another thing, I don't know about you guys, but I've seen far too many people die, overdose, whore themselves out, get shot, get beat, and all sorts of nasty things, over drugs, even just for marijuana. I pray that my kids never will get involved in such a dark world.
