After much deliberation, we have chosen Mystic Stiles as our 2003 Bluelight DJ Spinoff winner :) Congradulations Mystic, it was a VERY hard decision and took alot of discussion and listening... we will post follow up information with your mix, a pic, a bio, etc shortly...

To everyone else: Thanks again for contributing, you ALL had very solid mixes and I know we'll be seeing and hearing more about all of you as your careers advance...don't let this discourage you from entering again if we have another contest, or entering any contest...contests are really just for fun anyway, and we hope you had as much fun making the mixes as we did listening!

style: usually deep but play funky/tech house during peaktime sets on occasion
dj career: little over two years now
bio: live in a small backwards state (mississippi), and i am one of maybe three djs that play house in this state (everything here is dnb, hard house, fla breaks and progressive for the most part). I love bringin a new sound to the masses around here, and its starting to catch on. I usually tend to stay pretty deep on my sets, but i do like to play funky and sometimes tech house when the mood feels right. I record all my demos in one shot, no editing save boosting the volume a bit, i aslo don't believe in planning my sets, i pick out my intro, then play off the crowd.

i have multiple demos, but my newest one can be downloaded by right-clicking
HERE ,then hitting save as. This one starts very deep and ends kinda funky.

it was a very tuff decision...all the mixes were very well done..honestly.
 
yeah I had to do some investigating cuz I really wanted to listen to the first mix again and the damn link wasn't working. problem solved though. :)

when he cut and pasted the info, the target for the url was ....jstansfield...ight_groove.mp3 instead of ...jstansfield/late_night_groove.mp3

that's it hydra, you're fired!:p
