Hey all, just to clarify this is not a post regarding how to pass a blood test because I am not getting drug tested.
I have to do monthly blood tests because of a medication that I'm on at the moment and it just occurred to me that my next results may be skewed because of my use of amphetamines. I have a prescription for Ritalin and I have been taking Vyvanse as well since about Mid february with a few breaks here and there. I haven't ingested any Vyvanse/ritalin for 5 days up until today. (50mg of vyvanse at 9 in the morning)
So anyways I am being tested tomorrow morning for: Creatinine (CRE), Gamma Glutamyl Transferase(YGT), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), Haptoglobin (Hp), LDL, HDL, Sodium (Na), Triglycerides (TRG), CHO, SK and SPG
Do amphetamines influence any of these tests? I only have one month left but I'd still like to know.
I am pretty sure they affect the thyroid....
I'll ask the nurse that is drawing my blood tomorrow anyways but I'd still like to get some other input and scientific info...I tried to look all of this up but my medical knowledge is quite limited...
thanks : )
