Hi,

I have been legally prescribed a range of medications, for multiple reasons. One of which is a serious neck movement disorder. This is what I am currently taking daily:
Monday - Friday:
- 5mg Clonazepam
- 36mg Concerta
- 10mg Ritalin
- 100micrograms Clonidine
- 2mg Melatonin

Saturday & Sunday:
- 5mg Clonazepam
- 54mg Concerta
- 100micrograms Clonidine
- 2mg Melatonin

And I only just recently stopped taking Haloperidol and Seroquel. In the past I had been on many other Benzos, such as Diazepam, and tablets like Tetrabenazine along with anti-dopamine tablets etc.

I'm 18 years old, and taking this dosage of tablets daily is somewhat of a struggle, but I'm managing. I have been taking these medications for around 6 months as of now.

Last night (A Saturday night), I went to a night out at a mates place with some other guys/girls, I don't usually drink much and since I started taking these tablets, I've never had a problem when it comes down to consuming alcohol with these tablets. Last night however, I blacked out after a few hours of drinking. There were lots of things that I don't remember doing, and when I woke I was being told what I did. I had NO idea what so ever that i did these things! I believe it was due to the mix of the benzo's and the alcohol. I drank around 15 standard drinks (maybe a few more) and I was fine, but then I only remember parts of the night after that point. Turns out I passed out on the stairs and someone put me on the couch (At around 1am). I then woke up a few hours later (At 3am) feeling completely fine and feeling 100% sober (I know I wouldn't have been though).

What do you guys think? I won't be drinking that amount of alcohol again because who knows what I could do to myself (or others) when I'm doing things without realising what I am actually doing. It's kinda a scary thought. I'm now typing this at roughly 6pm the following day, and I have some pain in-between my rib cage and hip bones... on both sides of my body. Liver/spleen damage possibly?

But yeah, what do you guys think about my situation, I'm not really sure what I'm asking but just an opinion or something that I could read and take into account would be nice.

I enjoy going out with friends and drinking but after last night, I'll be holding back and limiting myself (I also told a friend to make sure I don't drink too much in the future).

Thanks for your time, and please leave a comment...

yeah 5mg clonazepam is a lot by itself, add alcohol to the mix and you're definitely blacking out, unless you have a tolerance. i'd even say most people would black out on 5mg clonazepam alone, may be even less

i a few weeks ago got wasted on top of 4.5mg clonazepam (funny coincidence) and i blacked out for hours. so yeah, benzos and alcohol are not a good mix

btw why the hell are you on so many pills

There's no mystery here. You took a ton of clonazepam, you drank a lot, you blacked out. That's what happens. I wouldn't drink at all while you're prescribed the benzos, even a few beers could give you major amnesia.

Anything higher than the equivalent to 1mg of Xanax then your limit is less than a 6pack of beer. I'm talkin' 3 if so many. Blackout city awaits if you fail to do this. Regardless of tolerance! You don't get tolerant to amnesia afaik.

I've gotten accustomed to black outs recently but that's after 2 years of use. Now I never cross as I say the equivalent to 1mg of Xanax if I'm drinking. I hate losing items and forgetting good times!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention.. The MPH is also a factor here. The fact that you had so many drinks was more than likely due to the fact that you were on concerta and ritalin which negate the warning signs of over drinking which is trouble feeding trouble when you throw that much clonazepam into the mix. I recently came off a 54mg MPH 1.5mg Xanax and 5-15mg d-MPH 5day binge with a lot of beer in the mix. Because I kept my Xanax dosages low n spaced out, it's the only reason I didn't blackout. These are the things you gotta keep in mind!

Take care!
