I thought it would be useful to make a thread concerning this family due to bumping 2 threads and finding very little information on the family on bluelight. I am becoming more and more interested in alpha-ethylphenethylamines and would love to hear about experiences from those who have used them. AEPEA's, aephetamine, phenylisobutylamine, whatever you want them to be called, these guys are probably more interesting than we know and I would like to know as much as I can in terms of experiences and general trends. The current trending seems to be substitutions on cathinones and I am not that interested in the search for the next mephedrone. Shulgin has tinkered a few of these guys (Ariadne, BDB,etc.) but I think we have some new playing field that looks to be relatively legal.

If cathinones can become as popular as they did there is no reason we can't shed more light on the AEPEAs.

I don't mean to be a downer, but maybe the cathinones have become as popular as they have because they were discussed here ad nauseum. You never know who is reading...

Everyone gives answers like. I would love it if these type of things could be discussed without worry about the RC market or the law. Seeing as how they can't, lets at least try to see what we know surrounding these things instead of being downers.

I don't have my whole life to put into research of things like Shulgin did and don't think many people do.

(not to be an ass to you but I hate hearing the 'who knows who is reading' thing. If there is somewhere more appropriate for these kind of topics, please PM me where to go)

I doubt that is the case. Methylone's synthesis and assay predates the very existence of ADD, and it turned out to be a winner for the most part. Mephedrone simply has a near ideal profile of a compound lending itself to compulsive use, as was indicated by redosing by its inventor in its first bioassay, over at the Hive; once let out of the bag, mephedrone was destined to take off. Bluelight (and a particular member here) does have a good bit to do with MDPV's take-off though.

I guess I didn't expect this thread to go anywhere really, kinda sad. I have seen 4-CAB on the market though, may have to research more into it.
