I've tripped a few times on mushrooms over the past year or so, and once on 2c-e. All were worthwhile experiences and I'm looking forward to many more in the future.
My wife, on the other hand, hasn't had a proper trip yet, but wants to. She ate mushrooms with me on my first two attempts, but she didn't trip. Both times we each ate 2g dry (same batch), and both times I had a full psychedelic trip. For the first try, she hardly felt anything at all: She had no visuals, and the only noticeable effect was that she was giggly sometimes (even this might have been a placebo effect; she really didn't feel affected). The second time she tried (again 2g), she felt nothing for about 2 hours, and then all of a sudden entered a world of mental pain. It wasn't a bad trip, because there was no trip really; she just felt like she was in mental hell. She was continuously confused as to what was going on and felt like she needed to do something but didn't know what. Again, there were no visuals or psychedelic thoughts, just confusion and mental torture (unfortunately she's never been able to describe it better than that). This lasted for about one hour, after which she pretty much snapped out of it and was back to normal/sober. (FYI, we were at home in a comfortable environment, and with good vibes between us, etc.)
So I'd like some advice. The experience above was about a year ago. She wants to try again, but obviously she is scared that the same thing will happen. Should she just forget about it? Maybe psychedelics aren't for her? Or, if she wants to try again, what should we do differently? Should she try mushrooms again, or try a different chemical? I have both 2c-e and 4-AcO-DMT as well as mushrooms. Dose?
Thanks much.
