addiction-pharmie abuse question....

Has anyone had any experience with this?? I have no idea wether its possible?

ive been prescribed ADD meds for the last 7 years that ive never abused. ive taken them as directed and for some reason never really fucked around with them to much- in January i kicked an opiate habit and since then ive started abusing this other med, basically ive just done a nice lateral slide from one thing to the other.

Anyway, the medication im prescribed has been very helpful (i wont have it again for like 2 months cause i fucking railed all of it anyway) Im wondering if i can go back to using it as directed? Ive tried in the last few months to do just that but ive failed miserably
I wont have access to it again for a while and Im wondering if there is a chance that i will be able to use it again as directed? Or since ive already developed this habit of abusing it if it will be impossible for me to do that?
So basically- ive used it as directed for 7 years-abused it for a few months, am i now forever stuck in the abuse/addiction rut with this medication?

Ive been abusing them for about 3 months(not daily but when i get a script) i do "want" to use it as directed; but since ive started this fuckery i havent been able to go back to using it as directed. How long does it take to "un-develop" a habit? as i wont have access to it for 8 weeks? If i get it again in 8 is it possible to go back to not abusing it?
