Stimulants Adderall negative side effects increasing as time goes on?

I've taken adderall to curb my onset on ADD symptoms back in the day (with some abuse but never more than 30mg twice in my life) and this time around the increased heart rate, blood pressure, cold sweats, and feeling of not wanting to exert myself increases as time goes on and never during onset and for 2-3ish hours after taking as little as 15mg the first day and upwards to 22mg the past couple (they're 30mg that I divide half and bite part of the other). How normal is this for people? I never had this reaction before and in fact, I use to always have a very comfortable resting heart rate and minimal blood pressure increase only noticeable when exerting myself or drinking energy drinks back in the day (90 would be the higher spectrum or 100-110 with energy drinks yes, plural). I've been taking vitamins for years now combined with lots of water intake as well or powerade (electrolytes) but maybe it has something to do with the B-vitamins?

Even after 6-8 hours and the only real effects that linger are the negative effects lasting up to 12 hours and the last thing I feel is the desire to redose because how shitty I feel after 4-6 hours. The only time I tried redosing was after 10 hours and was maybe 5mg which seem to have slightly curbed the shitty feeling but that doesn't feel like a healthy idea (especially so late into the day! but I can still easily fall asleep cause I'm always tired lol). I'm starting to think I have a new found preexisting heart condition or something. Plus, I don't get clarity anymore, I just get alittle more fogged up when I take it more than I am from my wonderful derealization cloud I've been stuck in for the past year and a half.

Obviously I'm not going to be continuing this as it's not therapeutic and would like my body to be healthy but I'm wondering how heard of is this phenomenon I'm going through?

Any insight would be appreciated since I was unable to search and find anything I can relate to. Thank you for your time.

Most of the damage comes from energy drinks. Do not drink energy drinks, it is filth. You have no heart condition, it's in your head. If you had a heart condition you would be dead as it cannot tolerate Adderall in the doses you took.

I meant to say I USE to drink energy drinks with em back in the day. Now days I'm just living by the healthy book with really weird backlash effects. It almost feels like what people would call a hard drug on my body. I eat healthy but I noticed I consume alot of B-Vitamins from eggs, powerade(37% DV), multi vitamin (200% DV) and chicken. I'm wondering if that has to do with anything.

Its common for people who use amphetamine regularly to notice the unpleasant effects get stronger and stronger over time. It's a sign your body doesn't tolerate the stimulation any more.

Make sure you have plenty to eat and get enough rest. If you run out of food energy or sleep, you'll feel extra-terrible. If it continues to be a problem, take a break for a while.

Like sekio said, the unpleasant side effects from amp become more apparent over time, even at low doses like yours. This is one of the main reasons I don't think amp is a long term solution for ADD. The same thing happened to me. It was great the first month or two with hardly any side effects. Then I started to crash really hard and didn't feel as focused when I took my dose in the morning. Sometimes I wouldn't feel anything other than an increase in heart rate and anxiety.

What I do now is only take it when I really need it (like before a test to study/cram). Using it a few times a month spaced out keeps the effects good while reducing the bad effects.

^ Used Dexedrine for 7 years and, although there was periods where the bad effects increased, they decreased over time to the point of completely vanishing. I've had chest pains, palpitations, arrhythmia, joint pain, dizziness, you name it. It doesn't last, just a temporary thing. Body gets used to it.

Well said. Also do not redose. I was on both Adderall and Dexedrine for about 2 or 3 years on and off and I would take it as it was prescribed orally and never went over 15mg or took more later in the day or evening. It sounds odd but a bad side effect for me would be that I would sometimes fall asleep while on them if it was early in the morning and I was in the first class of the day in highschool. OP, talk to your doctor or a medical professional.
