I have a CPS : )
No. Adderall is not listed in the CPS (2000) edition.
Dextroamphetamine (listed as dexamphetamine sulfate and d-amphetamine) is only listed by the Brand/Generic name of Dexedrine.
Dexedrine, however, is listed in the CPS for clinical usage. It is from the manufacturer SmithKline Beecham. It is Dextroamphetamine Sulfate. It is listed as a Sympathomimetic.
Indications: In the adjunctive treatment of narcolepsy. Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: Dextroamphetamine may be used as an integral component of a treatment program, typically in combination with psychological, educational, or social measures for a stabilizing effect in children exhibiting the following behaviorial syndrome....
It goes on to mention that the "drug treatment is not indicated for all children with ADHD" etcc. etc.
It lists a few of the tablet sizes etc.
The ones I found of interest are:
Spansules: 10 mg. Brown-Capped, natural colored body taper-end capsule, with 3 shades of orange pellets, monogrammed "3513" on the cap with "10 mg" and "SB" on the body in white ink. Contains: dextroamphetamine sulfate 10 mg.
15 mg: each brown-capped, natural colored body taper-end capsule, with 3 shades of orange pellets, monogrammed "3514" on the cap with "15 mg" and "SB" on the body in white ink contains: dextroamphetamine sulfate 15 mg.
It explains that those are "timed release"
Tablets: Each orange, round-cornered (huh?), equilaterally triangular shaped, scored, compressed tablet, engraved "SKF E19", contains dextroamphetamine sulfate 5 mg.
...
I hope that helps! So the moral of the story is to ask for Dexedrine next time!
Canada-A-OK!
