Mental Health adderall empty full stomach ?

I do take adderall for adhd and its been helping in alot of ways I do get appetite suppresion like alot of people do
I also read adderall is best on an empty stomach
How long do I have to wait after eating to be most effective I also use antacids/baking soda before dosing

Hi alteredstatez, Do you take instant release or Extended, that might affect the amount of time it takes to get into your system. I take 20mg extended release and I eat a small meal before dosing. It gets in my system faster and the appetite suppression is not as strong. I use to use adderall on an empty stomach but that led me to lose a lot of weight and treating adderall as my only energy source, your body needs food and sometimes when your on adderall you might forget that, at least I do.

Right now IR but am most likely switching to xr I agree that eating before would be a good idea ive just gotten in the habit of taking it right away to wake up I want to fix this with diet excercise
Trying to figure a schedule in
