US Events Actor Jussie Smollett faces new disorderly conduct charges in alleged fake attack

The guy should never work in show because again. Probably won't anyway. We had a girl in Canada fake having her hijab pulled off. She was on the news crying about the evil white boys and it turned out she made it all up.
Racism is everywhere but i always use caution when something so far out is reported
The media is to quick to jump on the racist white people train without proof

Being offended by a hat is absolutely ridiculous to begin with. I know people that work for maga as heavy equipment operators and know nothing of USA politics but by your standards he would be seen as a racist bigot trump supporter for wearing a hat from his employer.
That attitude is what feeds divide

Nooo why did you change it? lol... I remember when I first came in here and there were a few who were feigning offense that people should even suggest that Jussie would fake these attacks.
That was a considered a conspiracy theory thought up by racists. Turned out Jussie was the racist (lying about white people specifically attacking him was racist).

I just went through the first page of this thread again. I see no posts of what you describe.

How about you quote them.

Otherwise, people can go back on their own and see how truthful your claim is.

Edit: I've now gone over the first 3 pages. I still am not seeing what you claim was said.

I've yet to see it suggested that disbelieving him in itself is a conspiracy theory.
At best you can argue my early posts were against making accusations of false hate crimes without evidence. An opinion I still hold. But hardly outrage at the suggestion no matter the context.

I remember this going on and the references mentioned occurred in other threads but referenced this one (or thread about that guy being banned from reporting a trial in England).

Hope he gets jail, or no acting jobs. Complete idiot, makes a mockery of real issues.

The media plays the people well. When it happened(well didn't) it was everywhere in the media. When he got caught, it was still in the media but not so much.
Just like the kid with the native. It was everywhere but when the truth came out it wasn't the same.
There are more then likely people out there who didn't see the true story because the media don't cover it as much .
 
Many people still think that he legitimately got beat up for being black and gay.

I still harbor anger towards JS for this whole episode and hope he gets held accountable for it.

However, I'm also believing the recent 'news' and indictments is more about the State Attorney Foxx and her re-election than it is about JS.

I know that's not on topic in the slightest.. It's just... Weird.

One thing I do kinda dislike about this... While I do think it is extremely more likely than not that Jussie Smollet staged this whole thing. I don't like the insinuations I've seen sometimes that the two brothers confessions and admitting to being a party to a conspiracy with Smollet to stage this attack, in itself is strong evidence that there was such a conspiracy.

There is strong evidence, and the very fact that the 2 brothers almost certainly are the attackers and don't fit at all with smollets story is just one example of that strong evidence.

But the fact they say it was staged in and of itself, at the exclusion of the other evidence is not.

You can't be a suspect and a reliable witness. It's one or the other.

In this case there's probably no harm done. But you can't just take as reliable someone you suspect of wrong doing is being honest when they point the finger at someone else.

Again, I believe Smollet almost certainly faked this. I believe the brothers are probably being truthful.

I'm just mainly conjecturing.

No harm done? Why because Jussie is famous? He was up for 16 felony counts before his power and privilege facilitated the DA to drop the charges originally. He took valuable police resources away from people that needed them and he could have possibly instigated a race war. There was plenty of harm done, to the truth and also to the black community. He has now made people cast serious doubt and be more suspicious of any reported hate crimes.

It's blatantly obvious that Jussie staged this whole thing, which remember the media all labeled a "conspiracy theory" before the evidence came out. But people who were able to think independently and use common sense realized from the very beginning that his account was patently ridiculous. But if you believed that there was a serious white supremacist problem in the USA then it would have been easier to believe his fantastic story.
