DOx being sold as LSD in michigan, maybe you guys can help SWIM figure out what it is, SWIM guessed DOB from what SWIM read.

Light bitter taste, if you didnt know better you might overlook it
Takes 3 hours to kick in strong (about 1 hour to get light effects, you can tell it something after the first hour)
Makes you laugh
Bright lights
Bright colors
Weird anxiety, like you need to be up doing something
Lots of energy
Felt like taking MDA but without the euphoria or empathy

Thats all SWIM felt, SWIM's friend was much more strongly affected. He got all the effects listed above for the first 5 hours then went totaly insane. He was repeating the same 6 phrases over and over again no matter what SWIM said to him. Before he totaly lost it he was saying he had full on kaleidoscoping color visuals. He was runing up and down the street yelling, laughing and repeating the same 5 or 6 phrases. SWIM tried to walk him home but he took off runing into the woods and SWIM lost him. SWIM did not hear from him for 2 days. Before SWIM lost him SWIM noticed that his heart was racing and he was breathing extremly fast. SWIM's friend friend later described open eyed hallucinations that felt like dreams but he says he knew he was awake at the time. He says he seen women in dresses walking down a huge stair case. Then something about magical men or something he couldnt really describe what he had seen. He also says that somebody was with him in the woods taking pictures but they left suddenly for no reason, we later agreed that this wasnt possible. He was very shaken up and had scratches all over him from walking in picker bushes. He has alot of peices of hallucinations that he couldnt remember or make since of. He was in the woods for 20 hours solid, fucked up the whole time. By the end of it he was wearing only his boxers, his tee shirt and one shoe.

WHAT IS THIS SHIT?!?!

Be VERY VERY careful only 4 quarter inch hits were taken. Spaced over an hour. Its white on white unperfed. SWIM had some real white on white not to long ago which worries me.

Will someone have to DIE for these people to realize that it's unsafe to put DOx on blotter??!! People think it's acid and due to the long onset re-dose thinking it's weak sauce. Dude, it's NOT cool to have someone's blood on your hands. This is a plea, if anyone reading is in that position to make that decision, to please not substitute DOx for LSD. Even if it's sold as that in the top echelons of the game, you know some low level kid will eventually pass it off as acid. Please don't give acid a worse name than it already has!!
LSD is a remarkably relatively safe and benign substance with known parameters and effects. People know what to expect. This stuff is NOT acid and selling it as such is very dangerous!! If DOx or other substances will be sold as blotter, each hit should have some sort of ID to tell it's not acid. Short of that, it's just plain wrong to pass anything other than LSD on blotter! I hope this plea doesn't fall on deaf ears. Lets keep the love, empathy, and respect for others alive as those are the main qualities psychedelics instill upon us.

LSD
Onset - 30-120 minutes. Alerts within 15-45 minutes.
Duration - 8-12 hours (lower doses), 10-16 hours (higher doses)
Taste - None (small amounts) to slightly bitter (>1000mcg)
Body Load - None to light

DOx
Onset - 90-210 minutes. Alerts within 45-60 minutes.
Duration - 12-30 hours (lower doses), 20-40 hours (higher doses)
Taste - Lightly to very bitter
Body Load - None to heavy (Usually a little)

I can also tell just from the way the visuals look. LSD tends to be crisp and clear, while DOx tends to be a little more smudgy and bubbly.
 
Nuke that is a very good summary.... but let me add a few things based on my experience:

Body Load:
- Real LSD can produce quite a bit of body tension, especially if the mind is not relaxed.
- Real LSD can produce a tight feeling in the stomach, often caused by gas build up.
- Real LSD can be quite stimulating or quite relaxing, depending on how the user is able to channel the lysergic energy.
- DOC (for me and many others) has an even lighter body component than actual LSD, including a more relaxed heart rate and less peripheral stimulation in general.

Visuals:
- DOC visuals can also be incredibly crisp, complex, and seemingly connected to your thought processes.
- DOC visuals often involve some kind of spiral, which can suck the user into a very deep mental state. Of course this doesn't always or even usually happen.

Basically with the visuals it is impossible to describe the subtle (but many) differences due to variation in trips and between users even on the same drug at the same dose.

IMO there is no way somebody who had never taken LSD or DOC could say for sure that they got one or the other....

*unless*

- The blotter was quite bitter, especially towards the back of the tongue.
- The visual aspect of the trip lasted in excess of 20 hours. (although DOC may be shorter than this too!)
- If the user notices that the "taste of the blotter" reappears throughout the trip and causes them to smell a strange acidic smell during the trip (I've heard quite a # of DOC users mention this)

Also:

I think generalizing "DOx" is too much of a generalization. I found DOI to have a much harsher body component than DOC (which is probably the cleanest feeling psychedelic I've taken on all three trials from 2mg to 6mg). It is speedier and causes more tension. Of course for the uninitiated user this description sounds like some real LSD, especially if the user is anxious!

DOI *will*, no doubt, give lingering visual effects and most likely inability to sleep until the 18-28 hour mark. 18 being about the minimum if you actually eat enough to acheive a good ++. DOI also will not really manifest for a good 1.5 or more hours. LSD will usually start to show it's face by the 1 hour mark, if not much earlier.

That does not mean if you have real LSD you will be tripping face by the 1 hour mark! You very well may not.

So, it seems that the best rule we have right now is the bitter taste of DOx blotters. Although I've heard (not sure if it's true) that some virtually tasteless DOC blotters have been making the rounds. Once again this is second hand heresay and I'm not even sure if this is possible to do.

So it seems many people, especially those with no real LSD experience, will not be able to tell if they have had LSD or not until the 20 hour mark, if they are still tripping or not.

Even then, both DOI and especially DOC could have completely worn off by then.

And of course, both DOI and especially DOC can give very remarkable and valuable experiences, so one should not assume just because it was a *good* trip it was real LSD. Or, because it was a bad, or anxious, or mentally draining, or tense, or "dirty" trip, that it was nescessarily something besides LSD!
 
I feel I must add that my own experience with DOC brought me and the wife to a very different conclusion than Blue dolphin has come to. Yes there are worse DOxxs but that didn't make DOC particulary good , just less bad.
I do agree though that one cannot tell what it was by if one enjoyed it or not!
However by and large twelve hours after ingestion the main effects of LSD will have worn off (obviously if one has taken a larger dose it lasts a bit longer).
Whilst one can feel lively on LSD it is of a different order to the *stimulation* that comes with DOxxs.
The sad thing is that people who want to make money seem to feel that their product DOxx won't sell on its own merits and have to brand it as LSD thereby giving real LSD a bad name.

Not the first one in this thread to say its tough to find around here but I'm still probably not trying hard enough in the right places. Definitly going to hit up some local festivals.
 
just moved to phily a couple of months ago, but i still havent been able to find anything. even at jam on the river where the biscuits played there was nothing, but fake hits, which sucked. :p to all you people who sell blank pieces of paper
 
Ran into some white on white perf in Ohio on memorial day weekend. very clean and would recommend two to start off.
 
wow, im completely shocked by the elitist attitudes of some trippers. seems to go against what its all about. if you cant find it, go to a festival with a jefferson airplane shirt on or some such. anyways, in so cal ive seen white unperf that were cut really unevenly, but the size of the hit gave a pretty good idea of how strong it would be so i think it was pretty even on the paper. 1/4 inch hit wasnt to strong. id call it more a high than a trip with one tab. 2 1/4 inch to trip. also seen LOTS of amber gel tabs. those were only slightly stronger. anyways, that was a month ago or so. i just havent looked for any since then though cuz i was eatin those amber tabs a few times a week. ill report back with whats to be found around here now. btw, less than an hour north of long beach so to whoever it was couldnt find it there, keep lookin and good luck. try well known hippy spots. ones from the opening scenes of movies about bands with val kilmer playing the lead singer.
 
^who the hell is being elitist. lsd is lsd.. anything else isn't. and the stronger the dose, the stronger the dose. that is ALL people talk about here.

i don't think you understand the definition of elitist man, we just know what we're looking for!

I have seen these sheets with green designs and individual drawings a lot in Canada (Quebec), be happy! these were really good last year
 
^Hell yes man, i can't believe someone else actually got those. They were brought all the way to Florida from Canada, i know this for a fact. Very good stuff.. I haven't seen the print in a few months though, although it has been this year.
 
SWIM found amber geltabs in Cinci. Haven't tried yet, but I will let you know how they are when he tells me.
