Nah......100 hits isnt really ALOT of acid.....now if youve seen a book(1000 hits usually) multiple books or even pure LSD crystal.....then that would be ALOT of acid;)
 
anyone have a link to a pic of what a book looks like?

i've seen plenty of sheets but never a book or a pic of a crystal
 
My books have always been an 8x10 sheet of white fluffy paper (9 sheets) no preforation + an extra loose sheet to make it 10.

It seems lately (last 10 years) that the actual size of the dose is smaller, maybee so they can fit 10 sheets on one book, or is it greed or just more concentration of the lsd.

A bible is 10 books = a correctly laid gram of crystal
 
Its been some years but I seem to recall "10-lots" or "pages" as being 1000 std 1/4" x 1/4" perf hits. Usually 2 sheets x 5 sheets (5"x12.5")

"Books" being 10 pages. Sometimes as 10 individual pages or as a whole 10 sheet x 10 sheet piece (25" x 25").

A "bible" being 10 books. Have only seen this as 10 individual books.

@ 100 mics/hit:
1 page (1000 hits) = 1/10 of a gram of crystal
1 book (10,000 hits) = 1 gram of crystal
1 bible (100,000 hits) = 10 grams of crystal

Most of the 10 lots were std perf and printed. Books were 60/40 split (white/printed) std perf. Only seen bibles twice, one white unperfed and the other printed (green&yellow yin/yang) and perfed. As I said its been some years and my memory isn't what it once was so there may be some level of error.
 
Alex Grey prints are in the midwest still... very very potent. I took 3 this weekend and I'm guessing they contained a total of around 300-350mcg between the 3. Seems like there are lots of these available....

Things are definitely looking up.
 
San Francisco & The Bay Area:

It is still hard as hell to find but it is around. I recently picked up a handful of dark tan colored blotters (unknown design) and they are extremely weak potency... but they are real and 3 of them will have you nicely tripping.

No sign of any strong stuff yet.
 
Im happy to see its finally come your way Psilo.

Now if it only it came back to my parts. I cant wait for summer. I have a feeling it will come out of hibernation this year.

Yeah, they weren't glossy like flies, eyeballs, dragons, etc. if that's what you mean. But it's been a while since I've seen them... almost half a year. I doubt any are still around, and I've heard people have picked up sheets that looked like that (white sheets with blue grid lines) that have been very weak since then.
 
Damn psilo, you lucky bastard.. I'm in the SF bay area too, and have yet to find any real acid. A guy offered me a sugar cube the other day but I didn't trust him, the price, or the original source.. *sigh* maybe someday..
 
how can it be so hard to sniff out acid in SF bay? I have never been there but my guess would be if you talked to some of the homeless/hippie types around haight-ashbury youd score
 
I was wondering that too. If I had to guess, I'd say it has to do with the Pickard bust. Now from my understanding, Pickard's lab wasn't a 'family' lab (referring to the Greatful Dead family), he was still producing an incredibly massive amount of LSD. Anyway, people have speculated that after Pickards lab was busted, a handful of other labs heard of the news and quickly packed up shop and quit producing. As you can imagine, people who are producing LSD on a large scale are risking their freedom every single day in the process. My guess is that some of the labs that split after the Pickard bust were located on the west coast.

That's not to say that Pickard's own lab shutting down didn't also have a significant effect on the west coasts' flow. However.... it seems like the supply is indeed returning to the east and midwest right now, so I can only assume that a few other people have finally stepped up to the plate to produce it. FINALLY. We can only hope this trend continues over the next few years.

The established distribution network sustained extensive damage in 95. Follow that up with the major bust in 2000 (I believe) and there we have the great lsd depression.

I'm betting there was enough already made to sustain the demand into the late 90's, but it was getting tougher to get. The supply diminished, the bust, as John said I’m sure some manufacturers packed it in or took vacations. IMO, the overall quality has not been there since the early 90’s, maybe some of the old crew retired and passed on the knowledge to a new generation??
 
bluedolphin, no not like the flies and eyeballs, not nearly as strong as those flies were (whoa) and not glossy either. i think embossed might have been the wrong word it looked like the design had been pressed or almost poked as the pattern was sorta small indentations (and not perforation as it was a circular pattern) another friend told me he thought what i was talkin about were salvador dali's or something but that makes no sense to me to have a painters name on fluff oh well..... and by the way i just grabbed some perforated fluff today from the same guy i got those from (these ones perfed 1/4 inch) that are supposed to be a lil stronger supposedly 120micrograms.... heads up NE
 
Damn, those eyes gave me one of the best tris ever. I still think back on it and smile.
