I don't think that the "tap water is better than bottled water for IV use" is a blanket statement. It should depend on the quality of the tap water in the area, and the brand of bottled water that you choose. Earlier in this thread I compared the tap water in my area to the Poland spring bottled water, and the analysis on the water seemed to indicate that the bottled water would be safer to use.
