I know most, if not all, intelligent Bluelighters that shoot up are safe and use new, sterile needles and filter whatever they're shooting before doing so. If that's the case, then why do a lot of people end up with needle marks all over their arms? They do it the exact same way when you're in the doctor's office or hospital and nothing is left behind except a red dot that heals up within 1 or 2 days usually. Does it have something to do with the purity of what you're injecting? (pure USP grade as opposed to a bag of street heroin)
