A meditational expression of irony

"According to the NIH, meditation should not be used as a replacement for conventional health care or as a reason to postpone seeing a doctor."

And according to the Mechanics Union it is recommended that you do not attempt to do any work on your car yourself but use one of their members for any mechanical adjustments or repairs.

For the majority of people who are qualified and capable enough to work on their own cars, the Mechanics Union's advice will only serve to empty their wallets. However, for the idiot that doesn't know the gas pedal from the brake pedal, the best course of action is to consult a professional mechanic.

This is somewhat correct. Meditation is not a replacement for health care. If you're coming down with a nasty ass flu, meditating won't help much. If you're losing your eyesight, meditation doesn't do anything to help the problem at hand. It can help change your perception on the things that are happening to you, but it's not a replacement for getting help when you can't do it yourself.
