Opioids A better/longer-lasting Hydrocodone "type" Prescription?

Hey all, I just joined, and this is my first thread/posting on this site!

I'll get right to it - I took (been quite a long time) Hydrocodone's back in the day, I "think" they were the 10mg's, can't remember 100%, and my PERSONAL experience was that of pure elation & ridiculous happiness & TONS of energy & motivation, etc. I was not sluggish, or incoherent, or sloppy or ANYTHING - just completely positive & ready to conquer the world LOL! The ONLY "problem" I had, was that it only lasted about 4 hours & then I "usually," or in many cases was pretty tired, irritable and just kinda' "down" & needed a nap, etc. Taking more did not help at all, and many times led to me puking actually.

My question is - is there any other type of opiod/pill out there that would do the same thing, that would last longer, etc.?!

That would be great & I really appreciate the input & suggestions all!

welcome to BL, i felt much the same on hydro, but i let that get me into much more dangerous opioids, seems i hear alot of oxy, but damn addiction, i dont know anymore, id just steer clear if needed just for rec, hope to hear from you more, be well
 
Hey Robi, thanks for the quick response.

Yeah, addiction is rough, but I'm still interested in finding something similar for sporadic use - not an everyday thing. I plan on using it just like I did with the Hydrocodone's - 3 or 4 days a week for work, where it LITERALLY made me sharp as a razor - I mean when I say I was on top of my game, I WAS ON TOP OF MY GAME, LOL!

Any suggestions would still be welcome, and once again I really appreciate your prompt response my dude, thank you for such a warm welcome.

Dude, isn't Fentanyl dangerous as fuck? The "hardest" Opioids I've ever done are Vicodin & Hydrocodone ("Norco," if that's the same thing?).

Now Benzodiazepine's I am a fucking BEYOND VETERAN on that shit, Xanax being my all time favorite drug - period. Just like Hydrocodone, I can function like a BEAST on Xanax, go figure lol! I guess it really is true that everyone's biology, or whatever is taking place, is totally different & completely dependent to that individual.

Does the patch give you the same effects I was talking about in my original post: tons of energy, motivation, focus, tons of insane confidence - an "on top of the world feeling," etc., or is it a different kind of high & what not?

Some patches are strong, some are not. It goes according to the rate of fentanyl released into the system in mcg/hour.

I like to nod so I'm looking for the opposite of energy and motivation.
 
Come to think of it, perhaps I'm looking at this all wrong: maybe I "DON'T" need an Opioid per se - perhaps another type of drug would produce very similar effects, or even better?!.. For instance, I have a co-worker that enjoys working a full day with her prescription for Adderall - having never tried it, do you all think this would be a great "fit" instead? (I'm not sure how the absolute ELATION & overwhelming happiness, etc. that Hydrocodone produced for me, would be present with something like Adderall & others).

Prescription stimulants may provide what you're looking for but it's not always easy to get a prescription.

Right on - do you think something like Adderall would produce those feelings/effects that I'm looking for? - I'm not sure what the "general consensus" is on the "typical" effects substance's like Adderall produce, etc.

Also, I have a slightly abnormal heart rhythm/arrhythmia - it's called: "Sinus Tachycardia" - the normal resting heart rate is 60-100 bpm.(beats per minute) & for me, my "normal" resting heart rate when I "DON'T" take my prescription Beta-Blocker, "Propranolol," is around 132 or so bpm. When I take my medicine like I should (and do), it's about 80'ish.

The reason I bring this up is - do we all think that something like Adderall or any of these types of prescription stimulant's, would exacerbate & fuck with me & this heart bullshit?

Drinking alcohol and Xanax are a bad combo which usually leads to trouble for folks ,mixing with other drugs is not the same as mixing with alcohol,for me at least…
