Thanks guys, I think the pepper spray is actually a good idea...dunno why I didn't think of it myself. But good idea. I think a blade, regardless of it's legality, would probably not be good in my opinion...knowing my luck, I'd pull it out and end up supplying some dude with a weapon to use against me instead of the other way around, ya know?

And chinky, I didn't mean that it's necessarily dboy's responsibility to look out for me...he has just said in the past that he tries to watch out for me...and I wanted him to know cuz maybe he knew who I was talking about. He got pissed off hearing about me being bothered. Hopefully it just won't happen again, it's just annoying.
 
BV- pepperspray or mace is your best bet. Now, it's not foolproof, some dudes aren't phased by it especially if they're crackheads (or tweaking I'd assume, although I don't have any experience with meth-head antics) but for the most part it would do you just fine if something were ever to happen.

I wouldn't advise a blade though because that's far too easy to have someone take it away from you and now they're the one with a weapon. Plus, pepper spray will drop a dude or at least give you a good head start to get away, IME if you're gonna pull a knife on someone you'd damn well better be prepared to use it and make it count. Especially if it's a small white girl in the hood, if you pull a knife and don't bury it in him, that's just gonna piss him off worse. Chances are when you pull it out he doesn't think you're actually gonna use it...

Just be careful out there, maybe you really should just stick to daylight hours or make sure to go with someone at night

homeless people dont bother me really..when i go and cop i always see the same few at the same streetlights..alot of times ill grab a hotdog or somethng and ill keep the fries for the homelss dudes..or ill give them a buck..like just on saturday i stopped to get some food and saw the homeless dude outside the resturant and he asked when i was walking in if he could have my change for food when i came out..so i bought the dude a hotdog and fry, it cost me 2.50$, when i walked out he asked agan if had change and i was lke "no sorry, but i got you a hot dog and fries" and the look on his face was of pure shock and he was like "really, i can have this?" and i was like yeah man you asked for change to get food, well heres food, save your change for some beer" and the dude laughed so hard and said god bless you


its all about karma to me, if im ever in that position i hope someone else will stop and do the same instead of calling me a fuckin bum and laughing or something shitty

Hell yea dude i help out everybody i can. if someone asks me for the change i got in my pocket they need it more than me. Im not hurtin like that. Out in humboldt the popular thing for bums to ask for is got a spare bud man? And usually i had plenty and would just sit down and smoke a doob with em. They usually end up being some interesting ass people.
 
i dont know about sharing a doob with a homeless dude, who knows when they last brushed their teeth..but like you said if they are asking for change, i try and help out but i dont give it everytime..i try and give them food though when i can,

i told the story before here but ill repeat it cause its the same topic....last year around ths time..i was goin to maxwell st on taylor(its just a latenight foodstand by UIC) and saw this homeless dude on the corner and same sht happened he asked for change and i was like ya know what meet me by the stand and ill get you a hotdog or something..and sure enough he walked ove here and i told hm order whateve he wanted and he asked for a polish with extra onions and i was like thats it? no fries? and he was like oh sure ill have fries, what about something to drink? water? pop? and he was like sure ill have a pop..well as im waiting in like the homeless guy was waiting off to the side but kinda rght by me and the dude behond me saw i was talkin to him and i guess he figured he was askin for money and the dude behind me gave him a dollar and i turn around a saw he was a UC and we kind of just nodded to each other and then i place the order and asked for seperate bags and then i turned and handed the dude the bag of food and the pop and told him to "please eat it while its hot" and when i turned to walk away the cop stopped and asked what was up and i explained i saw him at the light and he asked for money and offered food instead and the cop just shook my hand, said its "way cool" and said merry christmas..and i got out of there as fast as i could cause i had a jab and some weed that i just fnished smokin, thats why i was gettin food lol

honestly im suprised you dont already have it in your purse..definetly go get some, i always got mine at swap-o-rama but its funny ive bught maybe 5 peppersprays but dont have one for myself..and you should maybe buy 2 so you can have one to practice with..what good is it, if you dont know how to use it?

and i wouldnt have knife cause like you said it gives them a chance to takeit and possiby use it on you..but if you do just stab them in the neck..now you do this if they are attacking you cause chances are your gonna end up killing them if you do get them in the neck..i say ths cause people get stabbed in the body and can keep comng cause the knife has to go threw multiple layers and comewinter it might not be so easy f they got a coat on..so hit them in the neck but only if your life is in danger cause chances are your gonna kill them with that shot


and UB for a taser in llinois you need a FOID card and cant carry/conceal it on you..its only for home and business use..they basically consider it like a gun

this is how you handle homeless people, im not a female and niether are the above posters so maybe that adds something different to your equation BV but it might also be in your head, i think its easy for ladies to be like "oh he wanted me" and you might not necessarily be wrong, but homeless PEOPLE are still people, yea some might be mentally insane but they're still people and deserve to be treated as such, honesty and a kind gesture go a long ways

when i was down in S. Dallas i got hit up by homeless people all the time, most askign if i was there to buy crack and if they could be my middle man and i would tell em no i am looking for dope and i already have a guy im going to meet, i would toss some of them a dollar if i had it, i cig if i had it (tho i did have a dude comeplain it wasnt menthol once) and even after i got clean me and my girl went down with some needles, water bottles, cigs matches and 1$ cheeseburgers from mcdonalds, it was fun and i really felt like i was doing good, hope i was.

If you use one to practice with, make sure that you wash your hands right after using it.

One night I was wasted at my friends party and decided to walk to 7-11 at like 4am to get cigarettes. I did a test spray to make sure it would work if I needed it, since it was really late and I was walking alone, and I have previously had people try to rob me in nicer neighborhoods than this. Well, since I had drank so much beer I took a piss on the side of a house, and next thing you know my dick is burning so bad. It was a long walk so I started running, but naturally they wouldn't let me use the bathroom once I got to 7-11. The sun started to come up on my walk back, and sprinklers started to go on. I ended up walking up to a sprinkler and just soaking the front of my pants, which somewhat helped. I think that only two cars passed me after that, so it wasn't too bad. I haven't told that story in years, but figured I would since the topic of pepper spray came up.

I did the same thing almost. I was like 7 and found a can of it in my moms purse and went to spray some insects i was playing with outside and well i got as close as i could and ended up misting myself with that shit. Was not fun.
 
When my girl moved to Lakeview and I got my place in Wrigley, first thing I did was get her some pepper spray. She was walking back to her place after she got off the L one night and got chased by three guys and sprayed the fucking shit out of them. I mean she really got all of them. She thinks they were drunk or fucked up something because they all dropped instantly. Pretty bad ass if you ask me lol, I was really proud of her; made me love her just that much more. Just so happens this was the only time I ever let her go home alone at night...just my luck. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something had happened to her.

So whats up everyone? My normal sawbuck spot was selling really flame dubs this weekend so i grabbed ten of them and its been a pretty good week. I got some subs a week or two ago and i think they are the 2mgs. Everyone says when you take subs less is more so should i start out taking 1mg? This will be my first time taking subs and i've heard they always work best the first few times.
 
Man when i had an everyday habit I could go 3 days before taking any sub then i'd take like .5mg and be fine. Its different for everyone but i had 3 8mg subs during a 3 year period of using either oxy or H everyday and never faced full on withdrawals.
 
Wasp and hornet spray also works really well but the cans are usually too big. If you had a car then it wouldn't be too bad have around and it is perfectly legal.

When I first experienced opiate withdrawal, it took 4 days to really hit me. I had been using for over a year straight, moving up the ladder from vikes, to OCs, then to dope, and then had to stop for probation. I stopped on a Sunday for a drug test on Friday, and it wasn't until Thursday that I was sick. I haven't really had to kick many times since then, maybe 6 times in 3 years since I spaced out my doses a lot except for during the Summer, and the withdrawals definitely come on a lot faster with each time you kick. It takes about a day for them to hit now, peaking at day 2 or 3. It's crazy that it used to take 4 days to really start, and now I'm pretty much over the kick by that time.

As for the bupe dose, you might as well start at .5 or 1mg. There isn't much of a point in taking more if a low dose will hold you, because all that a higher dose will do is keep your tolerance up, and taking a break from dope is supposed to be to lower your tolerance.

Ya I think you need a license to have pepper spray in my state. I'd be surprised if that shit was legal in Chicago so be careful. I bet they could use it as a weapons charge on top of possession if they catch ya copping or something. Something like this should be legal everywhere and would be very useful in escaping to safety.

I almost always carry a knife but, as a tool. Fighting with a knife isn't easy and I wouldn't recommend it. In any fight you have to have a real intent to hurt the person and I don't think many people can naturally do that with a knife. At any rate why not take a self defense class if this is a concern?

I feel you, there is one homeless dude around where I cop that is really cool, he always says hi with a big smile and I've thrown him a dollar or two when I can, so it's not that I'm looking down on this particular guy that's been bugging me. He's not hitting on me, that's not it at all, it's more like he's seeming belligerant about the fact that I'm white in his neighborhood and I'm not asking HIM to get me anything. From the gist of his ranting I think he's wanting me to try to get hooked up through him so he can make something from it. But I'm already taken care of and I'm just not interested in doing anything like that, why would I when I have a great hook-up already? And I wouldn't even mind him askin, it's just I was getting an "angry" vibe when I politely refused, plus he did get on the el twice after I said no thanks and continue to rant and rave a little. so yeah that's what had me concerned, not just the fact that he's a homeless guy or anything...

That's really nice of you to go back down after you got clean bringing food and supplies. You must be a really caring person, I'm sure it was appreciated. I know even small gestures can mean a lot b/c people can be harsh.
 
^^ i still wanna go down and do it again, it was a good experience, its just my girl was really nervous and anxious (she never went down with me to cop nor did she ever use) so it was kind of like a 'this is where i was going everyday' kind of thing but she didnt really wanna interact with an of the people and was mostly just nervous and ready to leave the moment we got there so it was kinda problematic for us because she was just asking me to hurry up and get rid of everything so we could leave and i was trying to take my time, find people i felt like were good people and the day just kinda ended in arguement until we were on our way home, overall a good day tho
 
A taze wouldn't be as handy as pepper spray because with a taser you have to get up close enough to touch him and hope he doesn't grab your arm or something. If a homeless dude ever started chasing you or something you could pepper spray him from what..15 feet is it? +1 for pepper spray!

@Chinky - I started with running online game servers when I was 15 (Lineage 2 and WoW) never played them but made a small fortune off of offering them for free online. Then got a letter from the FBI about copyright infringement and all that shit. Then I moved onto sell online services (facebook fans, youtube views, twitter followers, search engine marketing) and now I've finally settled in with my new style..which is 100% effortless and is 100% automated. I create the site, pay my filipino crew $1.50/hr to build links to my sites (to get #1 in google) I make coupon sites and "where to buy" sites. Like for example I would target the keyword "amazon coupon" 40,000 people search for that on google each month. So once I get #1 in google I get about 40% of the traffic which is a little over 500 unique visitors a day. With that I will get roughly 200 sales/day and amazon pays a percentage and each sale averages me $8 profit. So from that coupon site I would make $160/day and once I get it ranked in google (or have my workers do it) its 100% automated. No having to fulfill orders or even middle-man products. Just refresh my income page lol..then I scale it up and reproduce that 10 more times with different sites. Like "hostgator coupon" its an insanely popular web host. I would only get about 100 visitors a day but they pay $100/sale..and since they are searching for a coupon they are ready to buy. So 50% will buy, but I always just calculate about 30% to be safe. Which is 30 sales/day which = $3,000/day all automated. But its incredibly hard to rank #1 on google for top keywords. Gotta love the internet.

I have been thinking about taking a break from using.


I've been hittin the dope hard for a while now. For the past 3 weeks I've been using all day, everyday. I don't even have a job. My friends support my habit, cause they hook me up when i score for them. So I've fallen into this pattern, of using dope all day everry day, for free. It's too easy at this point. :)

But my tolerance is getting up there. I still feel the dope, just not nearly as much. If I took a week long break, I would def feel the dope much better.

Any thoughts you guys? Anyone else in a similar situati on?
 
my first small business was buying/selling paintball gear online. shit made me a few grand with 0 effort. not bad when I was 14-15, lol.

tonight should actually be solid. d-boy offered me his last bag....or his last 5 dilaudid. i opted for both, lol.
