5-Methoxy substituted tryptamines not analogues?

Oh ok, I see what you mean. I'm glad it wasn't too bad then, I guess that's partly a matter of luck with jail! Was the product good when analysed? I think it's not so easy to chlorinate 2CH.

^^^ Touchy line here. Yes, analyzed very acceptably, but the procedure that produced the easier to separate "over-chlorinated" by products was a bit low yielding. But still overall better yield than Sashas ;)<3

What was really fascinating was alot of the wacky unexpected stuff in side reactions, etc. I tried to dispose of all my waste as properly as possible and as a result had lots of waste sitting around at any moment waiting for whatever treatment, and so had an enormous pile of shit they insisted on analyzing. Made for such great reading, and a good number of the by side reactions were totally unexpected. Anything that had its start as an essential oil (even with so-so fractional distillation) had all sorts of insane byproducts that stayed through various distillations, reactions, separations, washes, until repeated recrytsallizations. This was where the forensics really shined. One bright spot in a very dark period....:)

I actually got a thank you card from a few of the staff at the forensics las for giving them the most interesting work they had done in ages. I imagine sifting through piles of meth labs get quite dull :)

Back on topic, sorry.....
