Does anyone have any info on these compounds? Anything at all...? I'm coming up altogether empty handed :[

Aside from the sparse information on brominated tryptamines and their sources in TiHKAL, I haven't really heard much of anything at all about them. Anyone have access to any psychedelic sea sponges?
4- and 5-chloro/bromo/iodoindole are all pretty readily available and should be able to yield the corresponding tryptamines (I think...).

5-Fluoro-alpha-methyl-tryptamine is know to be highly active. 5-F-DMT and 5-F-DET are known compounds and also active afaik.

I thought that was only confirmed as being active as a potent inhibitor of MAO, not as an active psychedelic?

Yes, I was just going to ask for a source. That will be very interesting if it were....open the door to more halo-tryptamines.

wiki says 7-fluoro-T/DMT are active and very potent. But for some reason the other halogens except maybe bromo are not very active if at all. interestingly the 4,5 and 6 fluoro tryptophans are also active if I remember right. the Seasponges have 5-br-DMT and 5,6-DBr-DMT
