3,4 Methylenedioxy Cathinone

I was able to find very little about this substance, save one thread over in PD and a brief mention in this abstract

It doesn't seen to be quite as analagous to MDA as M1 is to MDMA, but then again, that's based on behavioral observations of rats. Also, there is some speculation that this chemical would dimerize or degrade rather easily, however it seems as if the hcl, or other salt would likely be more stable. As I personally prefer MDA to MDMA, I naturally have an interest in this chemical, so what if anything, can you guys tell me?

The salt likely won't be entirely stable in atmospheric conditions due to the moisture present. The synthesis I'd guess is straightforward but I'm not sure there's any real reason to make this compound as methylone was generally held to be unimpressive.

Methylone is nearly as impressive as MDMA to many...

Many prefer MDA to MDMA, so it stands to reason that 3,4-MDcat would be a worthwhile experiment if its physical properties are workable and economic.

methylone is just as good as mdma to me, just not as potent(need about double the dose or more than with mdma)

Anyone check out this study I linked it in the first post, but no one mentioned it. Obviously it was synthed for this study, and administered to rats, so it apparently has some stability...

once it is in the salt form it is stable, as the freebase and during workup it will have an annoying habit of making dimers and other crap which would not be a good idea to ingest.

methylone requires work to bring out its full potential. its not forceful about it like mdma, but once you figure it out, methylone can easily surpass mdma.

md-cat would definitely be a worthwhile experiment, if the chemistry wasnt such a hassle.
