I'm looking for non-anecdotal evidence supporting a contraindication.
I've read every post that had even close to relevant search terms. I found two people staunchly against it based on individual experience and a few more parroting a negative response without any reference to pharmacokinetics or the tangible in general. 'It felt hard on my heart' or 'my wife could feel my heart pounding fast'. (Keep in mind, this was during sex.)
Shed some light, please?
2C-family -> 5-HT2B -> vasoconstriction (in some)
PDE5-family -> highly selective inhibition of cGMP -> vasodilation
I realize there are PDE5 receptors in the heart, brain and other areas. Their density in those other areas do not cause a problem in healthy individuals. I also realize that constriction and dilation don't result in a homeostatic balance. In what ways could this combination pose a risk to healthy individuals? We're considering normal dosage ranges. Let's say 15mg 2C-E, 50mg sildenafil - or anything comparable to that.
I'm not trying to elicit a particular answer; please identify any potential risks.
