have some needles left over from my K usage, so should can i use them for IVing coke and other things, or just same them for K, and get some smaller pins?

First you need to take some typing lessons. Cause same type no good you is. But no, 23 gauge needles shouldn't be used for IVing, thats too thick. It will harm your veins too much.

The larger the gauge, the more damage (i.e. track marks) there is. If you look at anyone who donates plasma on a regular basis (16 gauge needles), they'll have big ol' SCARS you can see from three yards away...
According to PhreeX (and common sense) smaller is better - you'll want to use 29 gauge insulin needles, if possible. You'll want the "long" needles, and you'll have to ask the pharmacist for them... they might ask you what kind of insulin you're on, at this point you can either try another pharmacy, or look in a Nurse's handbook and memorize some brands... my ex bought some by saying "look, I'm going to use these to shoot up. Do you really want me to use a dirty needle?" Good story, but I'm sure that won't work most of the time.

The easiest way to get them is to write on a piece of paper "BD 29g 1cc Ultra-fine" and hand it to the pharmacist. If they ask, just say it's for your dad, mom, friend or whatever. That way you have a reason for not know shit about insulin. It works every time for me here.

"If we could sniff or swallow something that would, for five or six hours each day, abolish our solitude as individuals...and make life in all its aspects seem not only worth living, but divinely beautiful and significant...earth would become paradise."

I had to use a variation of the writing the needle name on the paper. For whatever reason, every place I've gone this week has decided to Q+A me on insulin, even if I say "it's for my dad".
Today I made up a bogus grocery list full of old people bullshit like lactose free milk and dried apricots. Put some of those things in a small basket, went to the
grocery store store pharmacy handing them the list saying I needed what was written on the paper (I should have wrote, "ive me all your fucking money, bitch", but I wasn't thinking).
They didn't even ID me, so I signed my name as "Junkies Rule" on their insulin sheet.
The funniest part was walking quickly away from the pharmacy, putting everything in my basket back on the shelves, and walking out with my needles and alcohol wipes.
That was the easy part anyways. Now for a
100+ mile road trip to Baltimore to get more goods...

Man I just walk in the pharmacy an ask for a 10 back of BD, half CC. They don't ask no questions they ask the pharmasist for a 10 pack of BD half CC an he give's them to her/him. I buy an walk out. No questions asked. Oh an half CC's are better then 1 CC!

This is getting kind of off-topic, but does anyone know if rigs are still illegal to obtain in NY without a prescription?

Diesel, that used to be the case, but all of the sudden people have been giving me a hard time. I walk into a store looking clean cut and sober and could blend in with anyone. Guess it's just bad luck. At any rate, my trick worked, so anyone who is having problems getting needles, I recommend it.
And yes, I agree, half CC needles make more sense to use.
I go with the BD Ultra-Fine Needle Insulin Syringe. 29 Gauge, 50 units.

It is definetly legal in NY. I baught a 10 pak of ultra fines in Genovese. They asked my what it was for. Some mistaken fool on bluelight mislead me to say they were for allergy shots, but they kept saying shit, apparently thats not the thing to say, they kept probing. Finally, I just said, it doesn't matter, got weird looks, and the pharmacy manager said you have to sell them. There was a whole bunch of 'junkie' type literature about safe usage and sharing. So, when you go, legally, you dont have to tell them any stories. Im sure the head people are familiar with the law. There personal feelings on it can play no part.
