This has struck more fear into my soul then anything else so far. I like to keep myself somewhat informed on whats happening.. somehow missed this tho

Anyone with half a brain can tell they lied about their covid cases... exponential growth and then all of a sudden, like 10 new cases a day, overnight. Not saying 21 million people died though, but the whole thing is super fishy and to me, screams "we're good, nothing to see here, ready for business".

If anything they secretly rounded up and got rid of political dissidents or potential threats.

You should be much more fearful of your governments than this nonsense virus.

there's no reason to suspect foul play on this. for one, credit accounts don't just suddenly go kaput the instant your heart stops. and two, having secondary numbers for business or just to avoid roaming or long-distance charges is normal today. hell, it's tough to even find a phone now that doesn't come with dual SIM slots just for this purpose.

130 million people travel hundreds of miles every year from the hinterlands to the urban centres of China for work, it's not unreasonable to assume most of them have two mobile accounts and that a number of them are affected by the lockdowns to the extent that they won't need that second account, either because they lost their job or because they can't travel to where they need it

Only late in the video did they try to suggest the missing phone users were killed by Covid. I would expect, more likely, is China gov't that controls everything simply silenced the devices, or at least the accounts which are being used to count 'missing phones'. There was only a glancing mention of who makes up these missing phones beyond 'they had no minimum transaction requirements' = no connection whatsoever established with virus hotspots, at risk populations (students? Not generally hi risk. Migrant workers?), and no alternative reasoning (students and migrants left their normal locales (farms / schools) and returned home where they didn't need to make transactions? Really, too many holes in the foundation for me to make the leap to 21m Covid deaths.

I am much more inclined to believe China gov't silenced the devices and/or accounts. It would be interesting to know what other (in)activity has occurred on those same phones. I'm sure the gov't has it, but can't say anything without admitting they are over controlling everything.

It's even more interesting that China just pledged 2 billion dollars over two years to help with the pandemic and economic fallout with the pressure and scrutiny on them at the World Health Assembly. I'm not sure how to feel about what's stated in the OP, specifically, but it does seem China has some serious explaining to do eventually.

That's by no means surprising.

They have their eye on being a world power, especially since trump is throwing away America's position as one.

And this is what a world power does, it spends money to expand its influence on the world.

Which brings back the question.. what is the world population? There are 5 million Pretzel-19 cases, where's the rest? Not infected? Houdini? There are 7 billion human beings out there, right. Where are they? I think they lie about world population, I am not stating that everyone should be sick, please if that much you understood then God be with you -- I am stating that in a controlled society we don't even know that much. Crazy if you ask me. If you look at the tribes that are still around today, well we know that Amazonian tribes are still thriving we know that, we also know that there's hundreds but hundreds of forgotten islands out there that still have residents with no prior contact to what we call ''society''. Weird

I know! It is truly maddening! And Trump announcing today he forced...I mean asked... his in house doctor to prescribe him hydroxychloroquine is just baffling!

I think they lie about world population

I don't know if "lie" is the correct word. It definitely can't be a 100 percent accurate number, especially considering the number would fluctuate on an almost minute to minute basis.

I'm quite pleased about that. Anything that increases the chance of him dying through his own stupidity pleases me.

Man I wish I could get my doctors to just do whatever I tell them too.

Very strange indeed. I do think that China covered up this virus and under-reported cases and deaths. However, most experts say that the true mortality rate of the virus is under 1%, probably around 0.6%. China has 1.3 billion people, which means that 1% of the population is 13 million. So, even if every single person in China got the virus (not an even remotely plausible scenario), it still couldn't explain 21 million people going missing. My guess is that most of the 21 million people probably are alive and well, but they stopped using their phones because of concerns about 5G.

Your post doesn't make any sense. Anyway I don't see this lockdown very logical because you see, even if all oldies got sick they can't infect the whole world. As usual, everything's fake. And I still stand by what I said, they lie about world population.

Phone's who supports 5G > https://www.cnet.com/news/best-5g-p...lus-8-pro-lg-v60-motorola-edge-plus-and-more/

It's very important to distinguish between mortality rate and case fatality rate. For the math you're doing, since you're assuming all 1.3 billion people are infected, you need to use the case fatality rate, which is around 6 percent right now. So the actual possible deaths from 1.3 billion people with COVID-19 is 78 million deaths

Because China is a social society run on the ideals of communal life, they were much better prepared to change their direction as a nation when an emergency arose.

Instantly stopping work on projects to build a new hospital facility just for covid 19 can't be done in a capitalist society because we value money before life. China has always been a super power, they were China long before north America was slaughtered by Europe and they will be China long after the brief flash of USA has faded.

Being a nation that survives requires ideals that can scale and hold their integrity, capitalism (usury or slavery) despite the Democratic elect-a-clown game requires new blood constantly. Socialism done democratically (the best from east and west) could fix our planet. Rather than be cynical or suspicious of China we can learn from their success.

Because I have a fair number of contacts in China and Taiwan, half of my family live there, I can reasonable assure you China isn't slaughtering 21 million people or fudging numbers beyond the average of everywhere else. Watching videos sent by family members of the sanitization practices put in place in early January where single shoppers for entire apartments where literally spayed with sanitizer on the sidewalk from a pressure washer and everything was unpacked and unwrapped before it was taken inside. Mike Pence wouldn't wear a mask on camera because he's too cool. Leaders who can't follow their own advice or the advice of the experts they are putting in charge will have issues.

I thought censoring at first. But it was 21 over the 3 cell carriers. First time ever that any of them had negative subscription ammounts ...
This is insane.

The first thought that comes to mind is that China lied about the amount of covid-19 fatalities.
21 million .....thats a huge pile of bodies to deal with even with a large mobile cremator
Why qre they now using Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is caused by a virus (SARS-CoV-2) from the same family... thats new to .e

It's always been like that. The virus SARS-CoV-2 causes the CoVID-19 disease. CoVID-19 is a disease, not a virus.

"Naming the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the virus that causes it

Official names have been announced for the virus responsible for COVID-19 (previously known as “2019 novel coronavirus”) and the disease it causes. The official names are:

Disease
coronavirus disease
(COVID-19)

Virus
severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2
(SARS-CoV-2)

Why do the virus and the disease have different names?

Viruses, and the diseases they cause, often have different names. For example, HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. People often know the name of a disease, but not the name of the virus that causes it.

There are different processes, and purposes, for naming viruses and diseases.

Viruses are named based on their genetic structure to facilitate the development of diagnostic tests, vaccines and medicines. Virologists and the wider scientific community do this work, so viruses are named by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV).

Diseases are named to enable discussion on disease prevention, spread, transmissibility, severity and treatment. Human disease preparedness and response is WHO’s role, so diseases are officially named by WHO in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD).
ICTV announced “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)” as the name of the new virus on 11 February 2020. This name was chosen because the virus is genetically related to the coronavirus responsible for the SARS outbreak of 2003. While related, the two viruses are different.

WHO announced “COVID-19” as the name of this new disease on 11 February 2020, following guidelines previously developed with the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)."

It's always been like that, and not just for this specific virus that causes a disease.
