Opioids 20mg oxycodone issues

Ok so I gave a friend of mine and his gf each a 20mg oxycodone(not 2 10's but 1 20mg pill each). So they each snorted 1 and neither one of them felt anything and I don't get it neither of them have any tolerance they maybe 10 to 30mg's every 2 months so they should have been wrecked. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks
 
Was it the new formula or the old one, ie the 'OP' formula in the US, or the new OxyNeo 'ON' formula in Canada? If they were then that would explain it. There are also some fakes that go around, so do you know if they felt anything from them?

Could they be lying about the frequency in which they use oxycodone?
 
They are straight up oxycodone 20mg that's what the bottle says. I got them from the pharmacy so I don't think they r fakes lol. And I saw this kid get destroyed off a perk 10 last week or 2 weeks ago so this should have got him pretty good. It just bugs me cause I know what I'm talking about I have been using for almost 10 years now. It just seems weird that they would feel nothing he said they felt a very little buzz and got all sweaty. Maybe some kind of reaction?? Not sure though.
 
I thought Oxycodone IR tablets came in 5, 15 & 30mg's?

The ER's come in 10, 20, 40, 60 & 80mg's

If it was an OP which people that I know snort & still get high off of, then maybe its what you gave them?


I could be wrong but I never heard of Oxycodone IR tablets in 20mg form...........

^ Just by snorting them as is, or do they do the "micro-freeze" method? I thought that they just gel up if you sniff them straight up, so you don't really get as high since most of the drug is trapped in the gel. I did find some 20mg oxycodone pills listed on drugs.com, but I haven't heard of them being prescribed here other than in the form of OxyContin.

Well in the USA and Canada the 20mg oxycodone would be the newer "abuse proof" formulation. Is that where you are located? I'm not sure about other countries, but all the 20mg oxycodone pills in the USA and Canada are the OxyContin pills which have been reformulated. Whats the marking on the pills?
 
They are IR, I used to be scripted them

Lol that makes 2 of us I never knew abouth them until my dr gave the prescription and I went to the pharmacy lol. They are kinda rare I think considering I had to go to like 4 or 5 different pharmacies before I found one that had them in stock.

So they are out there & the doctors & pharmacists have been hiding them, aye...........
 
Yea I just edited my last post saying I just saw some of them listed here.

I guess the 15 and 30s took their place for the most part, because I have never seen those 20s in person, only the pink OxyContin 20s.
 
My current Pain dr never even heard of them until I showed him my bottle from when my PCP was prescribing me them. He swore up and down that I was on Oxycontin, I had to bring that bottle to prove it to him...

People I see doing the OP's never freeze them.....they use a PedEgg device used for corns & simply grind the pill over the device & snort away & they get blasted. Its definitely not like the old days with the OC's..............
 
I guess they figured they would allow the 20mg generics to stay around since there are 15's and 30's available, and it's not like they are 80s or anything. For some reason I can't find these 20s listed on the actual manufacturer websites. I tried clicking on pain management products here, but it didn't work for me (someone else might want to try bc my computer is acting up). The other manufacturer doesn't have it listed either. Maybe bigmorin is getting the last of them and they won't be around much longer.

Anyone that I have heard of doing that says that they end up pulling strings of nasty snot gel out of their nose.

my dr didnt know about them either untill he looked them up and i never have either like i said before. So since they are just straight up 20mg's of oxycodone you should be able to just crush and sniff and that should be fine i dont really feel to much from them either but i have a 5 bag a day dope tolerance so i prolly wouldnt lol. still not sure why my freind felt nothing. I actually feel kinda like an ass cause i took his money u know ill give him to more if i could find out a way that he could take them and get high off them w/o taking 4 or 5 at once like i have too. Thanks guys for your help so far
 
There also the same exact size of the Roxy A 215(Activis) & K9(KVK).

Just tell them to eat them next time. Maybe they didn't feel them as much because the nasal BA is lower than the oral BA. Yes, sniffing it has a faster onset, but eating them lasts longer plus has the higher BA. Next time tell them to crush and eat instead of crush and sniff.

If they are getting 87% of the drug from eating it, and 55-70% from sniffing it, it only makes sense that they didn't feel it as much this time. I'm assuming that they ate the 10mg percocet they took last week, so maybe between getting less of the drug this time from sniffing it, along with a slight increase in tolerance was the reason they didn't feel this dose as much.

I'm like 90 sure they make instant release oxy in the US in 20mg size.

There are many generic equivalents available of 10 mg, 15 mg, and 30 mg instant release oxycodone formulations.

Yes, we have established that the 20mg oxycodone IR exists, but it dose seem like they may not be made anymore, so whatever has already been manufactured might be all that is left.
 
They are still being made, in Feb my pharm ordered these for me. But now Im on Roxi 30's so I won't be getting the 20's anymore

No problem tricomb, didn't mean to come off hasty.
