2024 US Presidential Election

If they are bigger than you though, cats would absolutely eat you!

My ex-girlfriend used to do vet rescue work and she told me about a few cats that had eaten their dead owners and were 'rescued' and rehomed. That information generally doesn't get recorded so there are many people out there living with cats who have tasted human before.
That is extremely common for both cats and dogs, but cats seem to be less apprehensive and dig in quickly, while dogs typically wait for starvarion to begin.

It's strange for humans to think about... but is completely normal for mother nature.

Hey, when I die, Id rather have my cat have some sustenance so he doesnt die before my body is found.

Frankly you could donate my body to a group of necropheliacs, let the have a blast. I don't care, because I CAN'T.

If someone gets joy out of my death, great.

My dream is to be packed with some spores and buried - let the mushies eat me, and then plant some cacti in the soil around it.

Anything but having my blood go down the drain and being pumped full of plastic to be put below most of the life cycle. I want a shallow grave on family land. Actually, if I had a cat, that would work...

At least one family where I grew up (farmland outside a mid-sized city) and people I worked with (more rural) still had family plots on their land. 100 years ago, people would prolly walk past their parents graves to work the fields. Hopefully, give them a thought. The thoughts and memories of you are all that is really left on this earth anyway, your body isn't you. Made the land harder to sell emotionally, so there's that.

Or, you could let your cat eat you. I'm seeing a definite thread of cats lately. Maybe Kamala will bring back pussy hats.

Pussy hats are problematic these days though.

FTR, I am extremely anti-fascist but not a big fan of Antifa or its tactics.

It's sort of like the Southern Poverty Law Center-- at one time it was an organization with integrity that did a lot of good things for people. Now it's mostly extreme Left-wing reactionary bullshit.

I'm sure there are many people in both Antifa and SPLC that are good-hearted and well-intentioned. But the leaderships of those groups have gone off the deep end.

I feel the same way (only more so) about PETA and ecoterrorism. They do far more harm than good for their avowed causes.

(edit) Greenpeace is in a fuzzy-gray area. I don't think they are ecoterrorists, but they sometimes test my patience. Still, I think they mostly do more good than harm.

There's this cool book called 'Design of Dissent' that I own and is a cool look at how design and propaganda can be used in revolutionary ways.

Rhianna's ANTI album/label aesthetic is an example of how you can use form and color to evoke emotion and commentary.

I don't think antifa has leadership....

the odds should be highly stacked against Trump becoming president again, and they're not

true story - my nextdoor neighbor, in her 70s, she thinks God sent Trump to save us

she really does - and she's been saying it for years

and she didn't like when i said that im not voting for either one of them
