2024 US Presidential Election

Will we ever get that 2016 energy back? This feels so lackluster, even with Biden dropping out, it's pretty boring.

Zuckerberg says he was pressured by Biden/Harris to censor/suppress all kinds of people and information on facebook last election, but just admitting it will probably not change a thing, no more Zuckerbucks though.
I hate to say it to you, but the Washington Examiner ain't the best source. More to the point, what I read said they censored Covid 19 stuff. That's not "all kinds of people and information".

I find my self asking that question again:

"by popular demand"? right. fuck off.

the grift continues...

if you bought $1000 worth of trump trading cards when they were launched, your investment is worth about $400 now. tired of winning yet?

at least you have your stock in `djt` to fall back on. wait. never mind. that's lost 70% of its initial value. hope you were smart enough to short it, mom and pop.

he's my guy for president because he's such a great business mind!

I don't have a problem with them trying to stem Covid disinformation. Especially at that time.
I don't know, nothing will come of it ...
Nothing will come of it because there's nothing there.
The Biden Administration suggested that Meta enforce Meta policies.
Zuckerberg wasn't forced to do anything, but in the end he decided to follow his own rules.

As most of y'all know, I live in a semi-rural area within a very red state. I've been thinking about making this sign to post in front of my house:

I am a
G un
O wning
Democrat

Too much? I like it, but I don't want to come home from work to find my house burned down.

yet another instance of trump pandering and showing that he has a lack of respect for the military...

Yeah, and apparently one of the photos showed him smiling and giving the "thumbs up" in front of markers that included a Marine that had committed suicide. Obviously, the family is not amused.

I honestly don't want to get into a discussion about that, lmao.
A lot of people would like to forget it happened or was real.

What you personally experienced in your own life from Covid depended on your age. If you are in your 50's and 60's, your friends and loved ones are as well. If you are in your 20's or 30's, same principle. We're all in our bubble. I was 65 during the worst of it.

I'll leave the effects of Covid at that.

Regardless. Biden didn't "censor all kinds of people and information". No matter your opinion on our handling of the public health crisis, it was not political censorship.

there's is just never, ever any concession. any taking of responsibility. any "my bad".

just send jd vance out to defend it. double down and blame the media. accuse an anc staffer of being mentally ill.

What Arlington National Cemetery rules say about politicizing grounds

"The Trump campaign has blamed Arlington National Cemetery for a confrontation during former President Trump’s visit there Monday.

The incident occurred when a photographer walked around the cemetery with Trump, sparking concerns about violations of restrictions on political activities in military cemeteries.

According to Arlington National Cemetery’s media policy, filming and photographing is not authorized “for partisan, political or fundraising purposes, in accordance with the Hatch Act.”" (my emphasis)

What infuriates me is that the news media and the general public have become so numb to the sociopathic buffoon's misbehavior that we hardly notice anymore.

If Kamala Harris said or did just one of the multitude of outrageous things he does, it would be headline news for weeks and she'd be universally declared unfit for any political position.

Yet he constantly whines that he's being unfairly targeted. It's true that life is not fair, for in a just world he'd be in prison.
