I’m telling you facts don’t matter as much as optics for most dumb voters.

If you take Trump's obvious hyperbolic salesmanspeak literal, yeah, he'd look pretty stupid. If I were Trump I'd just ask Biden basic questions he can't answer like who was his last boss or what day is it.

Wow. I gotta say. Dude, being a liar, an out and out liar not an exaggerator is a fatal error. Yeah, Biden looked bad (I hear) and that is bad for him in the election. But he'd still make a better President. I mean, if Trump was a murderer could we say, "But he is fast and sharp in his murdering."?

Yes, optics matter unfortunately. Mostly for people who don't look into issues in great detail. (I'm not saying that about you, necessarily.) I think Beau might have been right looking at this fivethirtyeight poll. Biden lost the debate but it doesn't seem many votes were changed.

However, yeah, he could have pulled ahead and he did not. Lost a little ground. Independents benefited the most.

Which is more important? Trump's compromised too and you've seen it, just not last night. But, ne'mind. If we agree that Trump's Presidency is bad for the country, which is worse? Who do you vote against?

I’m not voting for the first time ever; they about equally dis gust me…well. The DNC disgusts me more than Biden himself

Plus I’m in CA so my vote doesn’t matter

I disagree with not voting since Trump will destroy democracy, but that's your right and I won't argue that.
How about picking a third party, though? That's basically not voting as well, but it's the lesser of evils in "not voting".
Either one will benefit Trump, but at least you're making a statement going third (or fourth, etc) party.

^ I echo this. I know very little about politics and feel I could have won that debate. Even though I almost typed one instead of won lol

Obviously I still support the candidate that isn't Trump, which is still Biden.

im in MI so I am gunna have to show up but it just become a burden rather than 'privelage'. Last two rep presidents didn't even win the popular vote to get in, correct? Why am I to trust the electorate college...and more importantly; aren't they the people who are suppose to prevent us against voting against our own best interest? Or are they actually obligated to follow the states popular vote?

Im in MI so answer me. (only time ill ever get to say that ever, sorry been waitin a minute)

No doubt the intel community was behind this. I doubt every single news outlet would deliberately report the opposite of the news at the same time.

Yes of course I watched the debate. It was truly sad. I admit you (guys) may have a point about this being damn near elder abuse. That man was a daughtering incoherent mess who ended a statement on wanting to "beat healthcare". I am not delusional that this man is fit to be president.

That said there is a strong difference between saying something incorrect, incoherent even; but still ACTING ON YOUR ORIGINAL STANCE. Rather than COMPLETELY LYING AND KNOWING IT; as well as honestly insulting the intelligence of American's with the amount of lies he told about his presidency.

That golf shit was just childish too. Trump won championships that he ran (ok mr burns), and I can't even picture Biden attempting to swing a golf club right now.

Cognitively impaired V evil; I guess cognitively impaired wins?

This is the first night, the "night before" Trump is speaking of. I can't find the whole unedited video now, but there's glimpses of key scenes in that one.
Neo Nazis marching with torches chanting "Jews will not replace us". Then encircling a crowd of actually peaceful counter protesters and viciously attacking them..
This is the crowd that Trump says had "good people quietly protesting".

The next day, yeah, the counter protestors were spoiling for a fight. There are counter protestors who say the people who pushed back that day saved their lives. The Neo-Nazis, being typical bullies, cried about a push back and it ended up with one of them getting into his car, driving into the crowd, and then backing up over people at high speed. Killing one young lady.

If there were "good people" that first torch carrying night, they needed to go home. I'm sorry, they were part of it, too.

Trump also equated Robert E. Lee with George Washington as I remember. Read this fact check about the meme which called it a hoax. The meme calling it a hoax is a hoax. His word salad is hard to pin down, full of dog whistles, and he lies to cover up his lies.

The difference I am seeing is that Biden didn't actively plan to be sorrounded by nothing but yes men as Trump has assured will happen next time. *he probably thought that last time too...*

Someone should pull him aside and let him know that MOST PEOPLE WILL SNITCH when faced with serious crimes. Especially if they are not *knowing and willingy* criminals. RUDY GULIANI GETTING SUCKED INTO A RICO; THAT IS GOOD OL' NY IRONY!
