2024 US Presidential Election

I won’t vote for Biden in any world. If I have to I will vote for trump. If RFK runs I might vote for him but I don’t know enough about him yet but I like what I’ve seen so far. All I’m saying is if I don’t have a better option than Biden or God forbid Gavin Newsome if he gets the nomination then I will vote for Trump.

I just want a president that is going to help the American people be prosperous, and it is very clear that isn’t happening now, fuck we are worse off then we were in the middle of the pandemic….I don’t care what party is in office or what skeletons are in the persons closet, I just want America to be prosperous

i honestly don't think they're much different tbh... giant douche and turd sandwich
Except we're not in a cartoon, it does make a difference, even if it's thin, we still can survive as species, even so the politician's programs are way too apart reality(ies)... But i don't think it goes by voting, more like what we consume and what we produce, physically as meta-physically. Imho, the less you contribute at these two tasks, the less impact you have on earth, either it's a good or a bad one..... It's NOT like underground slavery, torture and cannibalism that goes everydays... Compared to that, what's a billion cattles, adults and children, being murdered and tortured everydays just too feed you, but openely on the surface of the planet, with a pretty few people giving a fuck. I'm not an humanist perso, maybe because i'm antispecist, so wtf? They might as well merge the two worlds or destroy the both at the time.

What's your opinion @ions ? :)

(THIS IS a test.)

Voting is pretty silly imo. Only thing I vote for is local stuff. Pass on everything else, though I may vote rfk jr on principle, in the primary. But doubt I actually end up doing it

Why is voting silly? I’m just curious about why you think it’s silly. I’m not attacking you in any way. I actually agree with most views I’ve seen you have.

Do you think it’s rigged? I sometimes worry about that.

It’s 100% rigged, at the top level. They only need to cheat in like five counties to make it go any way they want. Though I guess you still can surprise them to where they don’t cheat enough, like how drumpf got in in 2016. They cheated to get bush in, but with computers it’s way easier than that. Especially with no Chain of custody requirements. The only real change will happen when the world finally decides to dedollarize.

Yeah. I fear that’s the case, but I still gotta try ya know.

So how do you all feel about this?

And I don’t watch CNN but wanted to make sure there wasn’t some things said that offended anyone. I think I’m more of an independent but tend to lean slightly right on a lot of issues.

My first thoughts:

How do they expect to win??? Even democrats in my personal life that I am friends with hate Biden and Kamala. Is this a plan to pass the reins back to the right? And to be clear I am not saying the election was rigged last time, but the only way I can see him winning is if they rig the elections.

I fear that there will be a civil war if they do get re-elected.

Also, I don’t know a lot so I’m asking this: does this mean that he automatically has the DNC nomination? Or is there still a chance RFK JR can get the nomination?

Awf... I thought you were saying 5 COUNTRIES, not counties... I was thinking about the veto right that USA, England, France, China and Russia have at UN.... That's the real geo.politic issue, this is a decomplexed oligarchy that prevent true republics to rise. So unless this changes, there will be inequalities and bad karma imho...

I think it's pretty telling that anyone would suggest there would be a civil war if Biden wins. You're supposed to be alright with the candidate you don't like winning, in democracy. Fear of civil war over an election result is the sign of a democracy in its last gasps of life.

By the way I'm not aiming this against you, I am also worried about the same thing, because we already had a bunch of people trying to hang Mike Pence (they built a damn gallows) for refusing to illegally overturn the election results in 2020. There are a ton of heavily armed right wingers grumbling about civil war, and all it would take is a few groups to decide "this is the day of the revolution" to tip things into anarchy and cause a whole lot of innocent people to die.

the election wasn't rigged last time and he won.

regardless of whether you like or dislike him, why's it so hard to imagine him winning again?

It may not have been rigged but we can’t say for sure there wasn’t interference. I mean they said the hunter Biden laptop was fake and a Russian hoax during the debate. Had 50 spies who lied about it it later came out. Supposed social media censorship.

I don’t think he can win fairly because he has performed like shit. Border problems have jumped up astronomically. No I do not believe in open borders. Legal immigration is welcome by me though. I mean they are literally deciding whether or not to impeach mayarkas it’s so bad.

I’m former military and afganisistan was ridiculous. No one I know in the military or has served that I know respects him.

And that’s just a few things…

Yeah. To be honest, I think if Biden wins there will be a civil uprising but I think if trump wins there will be too. We’re not in a good place.

It may not have been rigged but we can’t say for sure there wasn’t interference.

we can say that with a reasonable degree of surety.

the issue of election fraud - certainly to the extent that anything, anywhere would have changed an outcome - is effectively settled. it's been litigated again and again and again in over 80 lawsuits, most of which were thrown out for a frankly embarrassing lack of evidence. trump and his campaign love to obfuscate and delay in the media and the court of public opinion but their bullshit tactics fall flat on their face when they're required to support their claims with, you know, facts and evidence.

add in the embarrassingly laughable pillow guy and his ridiculous, baseless claims and sidney powell's epic mic-drop 'kraken' which turned out to be absolutely nothing.

i totally respect a difference of opinion but, on this issue specifically, it's hard to take seriously anybody who's still blowing the 2020 election fraud trumpet.

I’m former military and afganisistan was ridiculous.

i agree there were mistakes both by biden - who at least had the decency to take some responsibility and admit his mistakes - and by the previous administration, whose decisions affected biden's options.
