2024 US Presidential Election

i think the democratic party needs to get real about long term success - they need young, smart leaders like buttigieg and they need to campaign on policy and ideas and refuse to play the power-at-any-cost game that drives washington politics. they may not win the next election, or even the next two or three elections, but they create a party with a soul, a clear platform and a plan for getting it done.

running biden is driven by fear of losing in 2024 and they need to be much bolder than that.

The Republican party caters to the top 1% oF earners, the Democrats cater to the top 9% of earners ("cater" in the sense of the people they actually serve via their policies, not "cater" in the sense of people they just provide empty rhetoric to). A bunch of yuppie professionals in the burbs who they can fellate constantly. Meanwhile the 90%+ of Americans keep getting royally screwed. I don't really have any hope for the party unless they can break out of that mentality that they developed in the 1990s with Bill Clinton etc, following the "Reagan Revolution" a decade prior. People like Harris, Booker, Buttigieg etc are all just modern manifestations of that "new Democrat" look IMO...it was "new" when it first started developing during the 80s and 90s, it is no longer "new" and is in desperate need of revision imo

Who was comparing them? And why are liberals/the establishment so obsessed with this santos guy. I enjoy seeing all these lying politicians grandstanding, bc they don’t lie as egregiously.

^Because Trump is the face of an apparently concerted effort to tear the GOP apart. He actively works to fuck them over it seems like. At this point I wouldn't be surprised to find out he was actually doing all his shit to back the Democratic party in the long run, except he did appoint a lot of Federalist Society judges so there's that... nonetheless, he is killing the party. Rank and file conservatives do not like him anymore.
 
Drunpf served his purpose imo. He helped folx see that the establishment press is nothing more than propaganda for the state, and got one conservative and a couple cuckservatives on the scotus. If the establishment liked him, no one would have supported him. Lots to criticize with him, but he changed the discourse, a gave the right a voice against the prevailing neo liberal ideology. The down side of his presidency was that it made the establishment have a color revolution in 2020-2021, to drive the narrative.
This DA going after him shows how they are growing increasingly desperate, and shows how duplicitous the system is. The Hillary camp admitted to funding the steel dossier, no prosecutions for the document that pushed the Russia conspiracies.

True, we still have blind 'woke' leftists here on this website and in real life who actually really still believe in the Russiagate hoax, that George Floyd did not die from an overdose of fentanyl and a cocktail of drugs, that the crackhead paedo Hunter Biden's laptop was all fake and completely made up, that Joseph Biden did not sexually abuse his daughter, that Janurary 6th was an actual coup or insurrection attempt, that Kavanaugh is a serial rapist and alcoholic, that it is fine to manipulate and forcibly trans children, LGB (lesbian, gay, and bisexual) teens or young adults, that there are no neo-nazis in Ukraine and that Ukraine is a democracy and there was no civil war and coup by Zelensky and other neo-nazis where Ukrainians killed civilian Ukrainians, that in the USA we are and always have been an actual or true democracy and asking for a valid photo ID to vote is somehow "racist", and that Biden is the best politician and president evar! 😜

If Stalin, Lenin, Pol-pot, Fidel Castro, and Hugo Chavez were alive they would be extremely jealous of the leftist propaganda machine politicians and media in the USA and Western world.
