2016 American Presidential Campaign

from what i can gather the superdelegates will only change if Sanders ends up with more votes - which isn't going to happen.

This is not true. The Superdelegates' job is to select whichever candidate is the stronger candidate to run against the Republican nominee. With the current favorable/unfavorable polls, the amount of Democrats and Independents pledging not to vote Hillary, and the head-to-head polls between each Dem candidate and the Republicans, the strongest candidate appears to be Bernie Sanders.

There is so much contempt among establishment dems (which is probably the category the vast majority of superdelegates would handily fall under) for Sanders and his supporters that I can't see them giving him the nomination if he's not leading in pledged delegates. Hell even if he is I'm somewhat doubtful. Stranger things have happened though and all bets are off in this election. It's definitely becoming clearer and clearer how unelectable Clinton is, especially as she alienates more and more of the democratic party's base. Most of the party shares this alienating elitism though, and it will make it very hard for them to jump ship even when things start getting really bad.

They basically either have the option of nominating Sanders or losing the support of this entire generation and fracturing the party for years to come.

with the republican party disintegrating before our eyes and having a meltdown over the potential of a trump nomination, this is a golden time for the democratic party to do the right thing. i fear they're going to fuck it up...

Actually productivity has increased quite a bit over the years... Instead of passing the savings/increased revenue back to the workers via increased wages, better vacations, and better benefits, the corporations have chosen to take away jobs or underemploy, and limit benefits in order to increase profits. Basically, they have kept any gains for themselves. What you say redleader would only work if corporate greed did not exist, or there was a system in place that regulated wages ;).

Increasing productivity does not necessarily mean that the workers are working harder. A lot of jobs are getting easier to perform everyday.

Regardless of the actual realities of the Democratic race and how they've moved passed the importance of the actual delegate count, even someone thinking those numbers were still important would be a dumbass to think a 31 delegate win by Clinton in NY would end the contest.

You need to stop watching cable news dude.

do you know anybody on bl who is supporting trump, droppers?

polly is a parrot...

Silly as it may be.. i suport Trump at this point.

Bwahhahahhhaahahahhahahahaahha yep unfortunately I am with you noods. So Trump isnt smart and he is hard to like. But having a genuine person who is honest to his own dismay, AND all of the establishment hates him, AND he has a real chance at winning with a strong lemming base, AND he calls out the socialists thought policing double speakers without being diminished gotta get behind that imo
I will throw you guys a bone this video is hilarious and it makes this fox lady look like the idiot she is though I think I destroyed the videos creator in the comment I just left though subjective
