It looks like my labor union has given some dough to Sanders throughout his career. My credit union though, doesn't seem to be on Hilary's list of dubious donors. Citigroup is her top contributor? Seriously? Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Suisse, Lehman Bros, Merrill Lynch?

Jesus. Clinton's money trail looks like a database of every architect behind the 2008 credit default crisis.

The point being Obama never really accomplished anything other than law school, being half black, and being a community organizer which is just a trumped up title for being the head boss of a liberal pro Union organization; excuse the pun.

Assuming that's true, it sounds like Obama has some pretty mediocre qualifications. Why should we hold the next president to the same standard?

What's distinguishing Trump from the rest of the Republican field? What policies of his do you like? Hell, at least Jeb, despite his family name, seems like he may have paleocon dove tendencies. Christie seems able to cross the aisle (but won't admit so during the primaries). Rand at least pays lip service to a libertarian plank.

If I wanted to vote for a failed businessperson that has enriched themselves regardless, there's always Carla Fiorina.

Serious question... Which nominee would be the closest to Ron Paul's views? I would guess it would be his son, but some of his views are conflicting of his father's. Ron Paul was literally the only presidential nominee I cared about voting for and would've if he had stood a chance. All the other elections I actually payed any attention in my life just seemed like voting for the lesser of two evils, and therefore pointless.

I identify as an anarchist (And am highly educated concerning the ideology - PM me if you'd like to talk further. I'm not a teenage punk who got an MIP and is just mad at the cops.). But I think I'll actually go ahead and vote for Bernie; a revolution won't be happening any time soon, so why not make our state the best it can be?

Yeah but I'm pretty sure when people were punching holes in chads in 2008 or whatever bizarre thing it is you lot do they thought they were voting for a black guy.

Obviously we all know now he's a white Muslim.

So are you ready for Hillary or what?

Eh? Obama looks blsack to me. Not that, that should be an issue. That shouldn't matter. He should be regardless of obama regardlesx of race. It's the 21 century.

Only is she converts to Islam and wears the hijab to prove her sincerity.

I do remember polls from 2008 that showed voters were more likely to elect a muslim president than an atheist president. Although they look at Islam with suspicion or even fear, at least muslims aren't godless!

Who's they?

People are really taking the trump thing seriously again? The man runs for president whenever there's no incumbent to run against and always ducks out before the debates begin. Using the title of "presidential candidate" as a giant billboard is just what he does.

The trolls, lets stop feeding them?

Hes fucking leading the polls among republicans. What if he really does become president? Can you fucking imagine President Trump? God help us all.

His son is the closest as far as drug war stuff. But he's more status quo on economic issues. I think Rand Paul would make a good vice president. I'm not sure he's ready for prime time yet though

I think it would really be something to see a Rand Paul vs Bernie Sanders presidential race. Won't happen, but it's interesting to imagine; the debates would be more real anyway.

Nutty, with the exception of about three elections, I have felt like I was voting for the barely lesser of two evils. I think most americans feel that way now. Maybe we should never have won the Revolutionary war? This system is broken and no one can fix it because we can't even hear each other anymore.:(

Bernie would destroy Rand Paul. Rand Paul believes free health care equates to slavery, he's a freaking nut job.

I just hope that Colonel Sanders isn't all talk, I don't think he is though, he comes off as being very veracious. Hopefully he stays true to his word and his pre-election identity.

I'm not waving the Sanders poster per se, but the guy has been consistent in his views and policies since the late 60s. Voted against both Iraq wars, has been criticizing the war on drugs since the Nixon era, voted against the Patriot Act and similar legislation. Opposed the repeal of the Glass-Steagal Act. Very vocal on the issue of eliminating the payroll tax cap (which deserves a lot more attention imo) and of income inequality.

If the side-show absolutely must go on, he is the least of the evils in my book.

Even I've heard of Sanders by now (and I'm in the UK). I just want to know when he's going to adopt the slogan "finger lickin' good" for his campaign. Surely better than "yes we can"?? ;)

Exactly, screw policies, free fried chicken would definitely be a vote winner.

Someone should suggest that to Trump, it might be the only way left to salvage his campaign...
