2-aminoindoles

Was thinking these might be similar to the 2-aminoindanes but i was wondering if more knowledgeable ppl had any views on this?

Also was pondering about an addition of an ethyl bridge at the 3-position to the amine ?

Aromatic amines are significantly less basic than aliphatic amines and therefore don't fit the same pharmacological niche. I can't think of any among the common psychoactive substances, but would be interested to see some examples if any exist!

Diphenyl-2-pyridylmethane Springs to mind, not sure if 2-aminodilin or the 4-phenyl arecolines fit that criteria? And the beta carbolines
