You should try your hands. The nice vein on top works very very well for me. Try the fatter part of hand and kind of go in at a slant.

Hey quick question for people who shoot in their FEET-

Do you still get a good rush? I've never moved away from my arms as my thoughts and assumptions had always been the further I move from my heart and my brain the more dulled the rush will be. I know I'll get high, but I'm worried about the rush.

Could you use your hands? I know I have a big one that's handly runs from my thumb down the side of my wrist is awesome...

so i opted to trade a few kpins for a sub. 6mg suboxone + 3mg of kpin is a quality dope substitute

Yesterday my substitute for no heroin was kpins, weed, adderall, alcohol and a small shot of meth.... I eventually threw up and passed out and surprisingly had no hangover O_O

Omfg I went to make an appointment for pain meds and my pill mill doctor has been arrested fml!!!!!

i should be getting 2 20mg addies tomorrow, too. luckily im outnof the physical withdrawl, but the cravings. luckily i get my gabapentin, ritalin, and kpins filled on monday

i just need weed money and ill be very happy. nodding for awhile on the sub/pins isnt bad though. gave me the courage to ask out this girl, too.

I am pretty much out of the physical aswell now just having serious cravings... The adderall is helping me get the fuxk up and the kpins helping with my anxiety and the weed alcohol was well you know to get wasted lol

I really just need a type of antidepressant and anxiety meds or a prescription for heroin lol

exactly. im prescribed Lamictal for my bipolar 1 and it does wonders with the cravings. gabapentin works amazingly for the cravings + has an anxiolytic effect. the ritalin is to balance out the 2mg klonopin i take a day. the weed is for my sanity. the alcohol is for shiggles.

luckily i can be totally honest with my psychiatrist because he also does suboxone maintenance, which im not enrolled in, so he understands my usage and exact situation

You are lucky to have a psyciatrist like that my doctor was super awesome and gave me 120 Xanax 120 lorcceta also ambien gabapentin , Tramadol , robaxin , and a headache med with a barb in it can't remember the name...

But I called today for refills after not seeing him in a long time and found out he has been arrested lol fuxkin sucks...

I wish I hadn't waited so long to do a refill because he's gone and I really need a doctor ugh

I wouldn't use the hands or that vein by the thumb/wrist connection area. First off I think that the vein by the thumb is deeper than you realize. I've watched my friend hit it countless times, and he goes in almost straight instead of at a steep angle like you use for your arms. The other problem with this vein is that if you miss it gets pretty swollen there, and your wrist is kinda important so you gotta use it. There's a little less circulation in your hands and feet so that makes it more likely for abscesses to form their if you miss, since the missed shot has more time to sit there and reproduce bacteria.

The vein on top of the hand by the pointer finger probably rolls a lot, but IIRC I've seen people in hospitals have their IV put there, so it should work. It's still best to avoid for the same reasons I mentioned for the spot by the thumb/wrist. If you hit a nerve or bruise there you've gotta deal with it a lot more since you use your hands all the time, and they are sensitive.

Both spots seem to be the same vein according to this vein map.

It's the cephalic vein you are talking about, right?

I really think all the veins in hands and feet are terrible to use because of circulation/infection/swelling/pain but when you get desperate..... You sorta say fuck it. I used to have great veins till I started shooting.

Now I am very limited to where I can shoot. I have one good one on my right arm in the crook of my elbow and then I have the handy one in between my thumb and wrist. When I blew the big ones in the middle of my elbow crook I started using the Side ones and when those went I started on both tops of my hands the one that runs down my middle finger and when those got to were I couldn't use them I started alternating between my right outer Arm and my left wrist thumb area.....which Is the cephalic vein. When these go I really hope I don't get desperate enought to shoot somewhere stupid...

I do not recommend any one shooting or shooting long enough to become desparate like this, it's fucking ridiculous and now I'm always looking for drugs to shoot and veins to use. I honestly just fucking hate this whole lifestyle... Sorry for my rant..

Also I did miss in the vein by my thumb once is went down after a few hours and works for me but the middle one hurts pretty bad to use and didn't roll for me the ones that roll to much for my to use are the ones on my outer arms ... They are big but I have spent up to an hour tryin to hit those fuckers before.. Yuck.... I never actually shoot in my wrist I feel like the actually wrist hurts like a bitch to shoot into more so than my hands...

Ps- Hour till my birthday yay!

The only spots I can hit anymore are in my hands and feet.. Happens to everybody eventually if they use long enough. Even with good technique, your veins crap out after a while and your hands are the next best spot to use after your forearms and biceps have been exhausted. I stick to my hands though because it's annoying having to take my shoes and socks off every time I want to fix.

As far as the danger goes.. it really isn't anymore dangerous, realistically, than IV'ing in your forearms. There are downsides though. For one, your hands heal a lot slower. Also, the veins are delicate and it's easy for injection sites to swell. If you miss, it hurts a lot more and can lead to some ugly bruising that you can't hide.

The embarrassment from the bruising is the worst because I walk around thinking everyone knows what I have been up to. You can hide the tracks on your arms but when I use my hands to much and they bruise because they are so small I bruise from the pressure of the plunger but I learned to inject really slow and I stopped getting bruises on my hands....

Yea man, I've seen my friends hand after a miss and it reminded me of the big hand in the Foo Fighters video for Everlong.

When i first started slaming almost a 11 years ago i was using my hands all the time its the only spot i had a abscess.
Really you should wait to use hands and feet till you have to! I use the vein right by the ankle bone going up the leg its a fatty!

I have a friend that just missed in his hand and had to go to the ER for an infection the entire back of his hand was a bubble really gross... He always needs someone to shoot him because everytime he shoots himself e misses.

Just recently he Tried to shoot up into his stomach I was sickened I couldn't watch...
