in the context of transgenderism, it is my understanding that it is a psychological construct with contributions from hormones, neurochemistry, etc... and not necessarily sex organs or sex chromosomes (i wonder how many people there are that know for a fact they are a xx female or xy male and have the chromosome test results to prove it). i dunno if a physician is an authority on the topic, maybe... but it would seem to me to be more aligned with researchers in psychology rather than any old medical doctor.

i'm still learning, this is just my basic understanding. it is certainly more complex than "have penis, must have the internal state of maleness" like the bigots want us to believe.

Your understanding of the opposite or differing view is also very basic. It's not just the "have penis" argument. It's the "am biologically male in all the hundreds of ways that sex differs across millions of lifeforms on earth for hundreds of millions of years until about a decade ago when people on tumblr starting disagreeing" argument. 😃

I don't doubt that for some people the hundreds of bio markers are of less importance than how they 'feel' inside but for many others, that's just not a compelling argument.

try a couple thousand years ago, and that's only because it was recorded... i'm guessing it's likely to have been a thing since time immemorial. not just humans but our monkey ancestors or even other mammals before that.

maybe i'm right about that, maybe not, but it's recorded that we have had trans people for millenia.

you basically said the same thing i did, have penis are male... clearly you must know i deliberately simplified it for rhetorical purposes and that i understand the transphobes would say their argument is more complex than that... but for the purposes of this debate, that's what it boils down to... the "readers' digest" version.

Or that there are weird mentally Ill people out there, and how incredibly lucky she is that her guardian didn’t force that experimental MRNA vaccine into her blood….can’t judge a book by its cover, but in the cases where people go out of their way to look odd….we’ll my life experience tells me you can get a good idea, that’s a fuckin diversity hire if I ever seen one, and deep down you know that’s true too

That’s why I like Blair white, she’s transgender and still just says what it is…mental illness is a huge problem in the trans community, and if your not gonna make an effort to actually look like the gender you identify with why should everyone els make an effort to pretend you look like a normal woman

There is nothing bigoted about acknowledging how funny a man dressed like a woman wearing clown style make up is….but yes, I’m terrified of the logic you bring to the debate , I’m literally peeing my pants right now at the thought

Trans woman or man don’t have more similar hormones, neurochemistry etc. to gender with which they identify that to that assigned at birth.
