I've always been curious why there are 4x as many trans women as there are trans men.
Do some trans men just revert to lesbian?

It's sad and i don't think sterilizing your child is a good thing. Should have to be an adult. I've watched documentaries on now adults who transitioned as kids and now are sterile and regretting their decision.

There is a huge femboy culture now, but there is no equivalent big tomboy culture
when I was growing up I knew more tomboys than femboys, probably because I played sports

If you Google image search "tomboys" it's a bunch of chicks trying to dress and look like dudes or lesbians, but I remember tomboys as chicks that were down to explore the woods, quarry etc, didn't wear makeup, wore shorts and t-shirts or baggy clothes and were just laid back and chill. They weren't trying to make it a fashion statement

I think the bans are a good thing until science truly catches up to what progressives in the medical world are trying to do. There's no long-term data yet on what these "treatments" are doing to children.
It shouldn't even be called "gender-affirming care." They are trying to make it so that anyone who says they are another gender should be affirmed, and if you don't affirm them then you are a bigot. That's not evidence-based. Nobody should be allowed to self-declare their gender for the purposes of medical intervention. You used to need multiple medical practitioners to sign off, including a psychiatrist, if you wanted to say you were a transexual with gender dysphoria. Now progressives are lowering the bar more and more. You can't self-declare, NO. It require medical assessment by OBJECTIVE (non-political) professionals.
We desperately need the progressive shit taken out of health care, ASAP. They are just creating networks of "affirming" practitioners who never say no to anybody, don't practice proper differential diagnosis, and refer to one another for political reasons.
And progressives are turning this into "the LGBTQ+ are under attack!" No they aren't. The LGB is totally fine. I'm gay and I don't feel threatened whatsoever. The TQ+ are the ones with the problem because they decided to unscientifically go after children. People were finally starting to chill with the bigoted rhetoric. Then the TQ+ hijacked the whole LGBT movement and began eroding all our rights.
The sooner the TQ+ is separated from the LGB, the better. They aren't my community. I think the progressive movement is totally nutso now and they don't represent me. In fact, they hate me.

Boys who were suppressed and then tried growing up to be girls, they will have micro pensies forever. The girls who tried to be boys will have deep man voices. Those changes can't be undone. The puberty blockers also affect bone deposition and development. T has profound impacts on human growth hormone. Once your bone plates are fused in boys who are on blockers, the height and bone density they would have achieved via testosterone cannot be achieved later.
It's maddening how unscientific these approaches are. There are soooo many stories online now by detransitioners who were not given full knowledge of the possible consequences. Now they are fucked.
The worst ones are the surgeries though. Cutting off actual body parts of children that are otherwise perfectly healthy.
It's totally loco. The previous generation of transexuals are speaking out against it. You can't fully know you're trans until you're an adult and primary identity has been formed. All these kids coming out as trans have been emotionally manipulated by ideologues into thinking all their problems as children is due to the fact that they are in the "wrong body." It's preposterous. You can't be in the wrong body and hormones + surgery is not going to magically take you out of your body and put you into a new one.
And #1... the biggest sin of all this... is that these children are being sterilized. They will never be able to have kids. They will also never know an orgasm, so their sex lives will be fucked. Males deprived of T and females deprived of E will not have normal sex lives. Good luck with dating!

I have, trans women who are now in their 20's are lucky enough to have started hormones (androgen blockers and estrogen) in their teens, and some you wouldn't know were not born biologically female
And that's the CRUX of the matter. Bigots are terrified they will fuck a trans woman and not realize it, so they do everything possible to prevent advancement to the point where t-girls are indistinguishable from cis-girls.
Starting hormone treatment just prior to puberty results in a lack of masculine hirsutism, development of true breasts, hip widening, and actually helps with integration of the brain (trans women's brains more closely resemble biological female brains than male).
This can avoid facial feminization voice, and breast enhancement surgeries making transitioning SAFER.
It's not about a teen making an irreversible decision, we allow 16 year olds to do that with regard to sex. The age of consent to sex is 16 in most US States, why should the right to decide gender not be the same? It's about how not being able to tell if a woman was born female or not drives bigots ABSOLUTELY NUTS.
And you are COMPLETELY WRONG regarding sexual function. A friend started hormones at 12 or 13 with parental and physician support. She can orgasm from nipple play, post op clitoral stimulation, post op vaginal stimulation, AND PROSTATE STIMULATION.

I don't want to make this a component of argumentation, but rather a suggestion and expression of my wishes; I feel like sometimes minorities and discriminated human groups have internalized the rhetorics people hostile towards them have used in order to be able to turn those same rhetorics they understand, against the oppressors, to gain space to exist. And sometimes it leads people to kinda repeating the trauma.
So, I just wish you people to perceive things again from that perspective for a while. I claim that many of us are that are otherized or otherwise questioned legitimate of existence as ourselves are not that far away with other people that share same experience but with other title. I know this sounds confusing, this is very difficult concept to explain. Maybe I will do better job tomorrow.
