In general more people find psilocybin more unpredictable than lysergamides and phenetylamines. I assume that's because of their effect on dopamine that tryptamines doesn't have to the same extent.

I've used both psilocybin and LSD more times than I can reasonably count, and both of them could easily fit either of these descriptions here. It's much more up to how you wield the experience, and guide it imo.

Apples and oranges basicly.. High dose mushrooms can be somewhat similar to regular DMT. But 5-meo-DMT is way different, still has that tryptamine feel but the focus of the effects is something else.

I know its not the answer you're looking for, but tryptamines (psilocybin, DMT, so on) have been fairly reliable as antidepressants for me without the significant side effects I get from things like SSRIs.
